Midway Releases Five New Screenshots from MK: Armageddon for Wii!

The folks over at Midway have decided to give out another set of screenshots from the upcoming Nintendo Wii version of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon! Two of the screenshots show regular kombat action: one has Reiko using his charge attack against Liu Kang, and the other shows Sektor using his flamethrower against Cyrax. The other three images demonstrate how the Wii remote would be used to implement such attacks; two images show the Wii remote motions needed for each attack, and one image shows a three-panel demonstration of Reiko's charge attack in motion.

MK: Armageddon for Wii is on schedule for an April 2007 release.

Plus, I want to really experience playing MK on a different level as oppose to the typical controller with buttons since I love the wii in general.

Die hard? Or waste of money? I can understand if it was a PORTABLE version of it, but another home version? Unless it was updated with a myriad of other things... Pfft... Pass.

in truth i hate Wii.
On this console,after a lot of weeks,we haven't a single masterpiece.
we have just good games or sucking games,but not masterpiece.
And btw,i think that reviwers of mkarmageddon for wii will be very severe.
i think it will score a 5/10 mostly because lack of improvements and new stuff from the original game.

regarding that photo of sektor and cyrax:

why is it that sektor and smoke get all their old moves back, scorpion and sub-zero get 1 new move each, but they cant find the time give cyrax back his signature net throw. i know they were rushed but what the hell?

So they release five "new" pics for the wii, and not one of them has Khameleon? Do we honestly care about anything in the Wii MK:A aside from Khameleon? Sheesh.

Is it just me, or does the Xbox version look better in terms of graphics? (with 720p and assuming you've played it on 360)

I think it must be pretty exciting to play this game on the wii with the wii mote, but I personally wouldn't invest money on the system just to buy Armageddon for it.

i think the graphics for the wii version look better than current gen consoles. Then again, i have the ps2 version and it has the worst graphics of the three.

Dude thats how all the game pics usually look. Thats not how the game is going to look like. Trust me. Also thats a cool pic of Reiko.

The Wii is a gimmick. This game will also suck on it. I mean, the Wiimote doesn't have enough damn buttons for the game to work.

Looks like its gona suck so hard that even a sucttion that has a hurricane force to it would pale in comparison to this. And thats saying something there.
