He has Sonya's pants and boots lol. I don't like Jax, anymore. Him being in this game was a complete waste. Nice render though.

he looks pretty boss. much less street and more hardass than his last few appearances. the whole new head thing is a bit odd, but workable. good job guys!

Like I said in the pre-render thread, looks like this Jax was influenced slightly by MK:Annihilation Jax, no hair, more badass looking and not really "ghetto/gansta" looking lol.

Other then that, the render is good but I still don't like Jax as a character that much.

As someone who has never cared much at all about Jax, I do have to admit, I'm liking the redesign here. The vest is a little too "superheroic" (I'd prefer something looking a bit more like real body armor), but I am thoroughly impressed here. However, let's hope Midway can follow up by having Jax not sound or act like a stereotype.
PS: But I still think roster space could be better served by having someone else.

I don't think I'm adding anything by noticing the head isn't particularly heroic, but I wonder if that might not look better in-game (like Sonya).
The arms could've been a bit more mechanical attachment, a bit less spray painted arms, but at least they aren't blocky weird things.

With me it's not the face per se, but the facial expression. It doesn't look all that good on him. Plus, he looks just a little too bulky. Though, it's a surprisingly well done redesign (Facially and overall) and I just hope they continue it in future games.

The render looks great. I like the new Jax. He does have that Annihilation vibe to him, with the whole bald, badass, facial hair, not-ghetto-but-also-not-a-wimp look.

Also someone posted about his arms being broken off. I'd love to see how that would affect the gameplay. Would his punches do less damage? Can he use different parts as weapons? I'm curious to find out.

I'm actually liking this render. Jax looks more like a soldier (which is a plus) There's only one thing I thought could be better: His arms. Don't know what it is exactly..but they just look kinda off.

Other than that, I'm very happy with his new design. It's actually made me want to see what else they've done to him in gameplay.

My favorite part about the new design, however, is the fact that it's got a few elements from Sonya's as well. Making them look like they're part of a uniformed Special Forces team for once.


Still iffy on the arms (though they could look better in-game, we'll see.), but overall it's a nice re-design.

Pretty decent design. I like how the arms now look like they're part of the costume, they stand out less rather than looking like a costume from a straight to dvd sci fi movie. His torso reminds me of the Batman costume used in The Dark Knight. I actually like the face, but I don't understand what expression he is supposed to have. He looks like he is very angry at a midget standing out of the shot, which is why he is looking down.

Ahh man, it's funny to see the little "inside sex" jokes on these renders between Superman, Jax for guys and Kitana and Sonya for girls ha, ha

Speaking of the arms,they do look a bit blocky,but I'm positive most of that armor plating can be stripped off in battle,revealing the circuitry/skin underneath. It definitely looks removable.

I actually like this Jax! Props to the MK Team
