Yeah no doubt.
For a second, I thought that maybe if they had some spare time, they'd probably re-do the endings just for the heck of it, but with everything that's been going on, I doubt it.
Nonetheless, Sareena's bio was great. I always imagined her character being like that as well.....twisted, but trying to fight it off.
I'm really liking these bios. Wow, this was a good one. What's this? *gasp!* A character with depth?! Unbelievable. And, miracuously, making some of the nonsense of Konquest mode make sense.
The sad thing is, I really want to know what happened after this...

i've read the bio,and unluckly i'm not happy.
iliked Kenshi's one a lot,but this one,it's too twisted.
Sareena is good,is evil,is good again,is a demon,is human,and is evil again.It seems that Vogel put thing randomly,to her.
It's not explained the role and the comeback of Kia and Jataaka.
The only god thing howver is that Noob-Smoke ending in deception is partially canon.Tough Sub Zero won, instead of been ripped in half.
Howver this doesn't means that the horrible endings in armageddon aren't canon.
i prefer an easier storyline...

Probably one of those mindfuck situations. You know, "It doesn't matter how you look. Deep down, you'll always be a dark dirty creature.:

It's nice to see how these bios fix some mistakes from the programmers who don't read the story of the game they work (like fighting Sareena in Konquest).
It is said that John Vogel is a genius.

Yeah, and make her MKTE ending canon and the MKD Noob-Smoke's ending partially canon. John Vogel is a genius if other MKTeam members doesn't fuck his work

What? Oh man, you really don't know what you're talking about, do you?
Sareena was evil, a servant of Quan Chi. She turned on Quan Chi to aid the Older Sub-Zero as she wanted to escape with him out of the Netherrealm. She was "killed" by Shinnok, lost her human form, and descended into the 5th plane of the Netherrealm. Years later, she escapes into Outworld, regains her human form, eventually meets Sub-Zero and takes refuge in the Lin Kuei temple. She went from evil to neutral to good to evil, not from good to evil then to good.
She is still a demon throughout her storyline. It's just that she lost her human form after being "killed" by Shinnok.
Kia and Jatakka are demons. They are basically immortal.
You're actually thinking that the endings in MKA can be canon? Oh please...*rolls eyes* Maybe one or two endings or so, yes, but not a whole lot of them.

I really wouldn't say Sareena's being evil by choice here, either. As others pointed out, it seems like Quan Chi's reasserting authority over her and making her "accept" her demonic nature. Much of the bio seems to be her speaking somewhat normally, but at the end, it's almost like "evil demon bitch Sareena" kicks in and starts going on about her loyalty to Quan Chi.

It's hardly random. It establishes Sareena as a character torn between her desire to be good and her dark nature. Makes her complex.
But as you said, you prefer easier stories.

I agree.
What strikes me is after Quan Chi does his whammy on her, she says "I am not a being of light." as if she wanted to believe that she was or that she could be. Yet Quan Chi came along and, as Psychofight said, does a little mindfuck on her...combined with the Netherealm's dark energy screwing with her, that she mentioned early in the bio...and convinces her she's just a pure evil Demon and that's all she can ever be.
This is just speculation, but I bet the fight with Taven during Konquest snapped her out of it....or at least might have had something to do with it. But who knows, maybe we'll get further developements in future bios.
