I wanna butt in between Mick and Death by saying: What does the decade have anything to do with wanting Death/Black Metal "icons" as playable characters in the MK world. That has no relevant point. When I hear dark and gritty I immediately think Black metal... no DC (though I'm not upset about it) and they'd be perfect competitors for MK, with their guitars and growls.
Heck I'm sure it'll never happen, but one can dream and speculate. Imagine: Nergal Vs. Scorpion -- Shagrath Vs. Subzero etc...
Thank you, my sentiments exactly. {except i am upset about DC XD but this isn't the place for that} anyways, Nergal would be perfect, and so would Freddy from Chthonic. George from Cannibal Corpse too. Hell even put in Dethklok and i'd be happy! every episode has at least one giant fatality!
