MK:D for Cube bonuses.

Boon and Midway have already said that the GameCube port will arrive in first quarter, 2005.
That could be about 6 months away, til gamecube owners get MK: D

Nex, it's not like I've pulled this date out of the sky....
Midway has said this themselves.

I heard a rumor from a friend that the gamecube version may includes a tag team mode to replace the online feature. Someone please tell me, he was just full of shit? I don't want to buy two version of the same game.

hell, the GC is a kiddie system anyways, i hate my GC, it just collects dust in my closet, *selling it soon* to get back on topic, i think the extras will be an Extra level or two, nothing major, or it could possibly be a can of tuna, but i wouldn't put my money on it

| veinz Wrote: what they should do is make two extra gamecube characters and 3 more stages, but on the day of the gamecube release, reveal the code that unlocks those things on Xbox and PS2. Unless of course the two characters are Nintendo Characters, like say.... Samus and Link |
Samus or link would be interesting actually.
But I would like it to be something like MK:TE, like tag teams, etc. Imagine all the gameplay possibilities that could be opened by linking 2 character's special attacks like Sub-Zero and Sindel for example. That would be awesome.
But on the other hand these "extra-features" can be an excuse just to make the cube's version LAN-enabled and make it "unofficially" online lol... But I doubt that's the case, I am only guessing... Though the tag team mode could be very very interesting
Well Nintendo Has stoped producing the stuff for Online Play, so unless Midway wanted to package it with MK:D. Online was out
I mean I don't know if Midway whould acutally spend that much time to devolpe new Chars or Stages, but if they do who cares. The GC is $99 If you really want to play the addations buy a GC.
I read somewhere "a HardCore movie goer likes all kinds of Movies and is very open minded ,but a Horecore Gamer likes only one kind of Game and is very narrow minded" Unfortanlly it's kinda true.
