Agreed. IMO, the best ninja outfits were the ones of Mk1.

K? I think it'd make more sense if you said that the ARTISTS were lazy. Programmers, testers, animators, background designers... Those dudes don't usually mess around with the characters' costumes. Capiche?

Raiden's looks the same, but I wanted it to stay the same anyway. I'm pretty happy.
I think they probably try to change things if they feel they can improve on it, not just for the sake of doing it.
But, I thought I saw Raiden had sandals on! And that really pissed me off!! Doh!!

he has his mk4 outfit as his alternate in mk6.. which is his best from the old 2~d games!! imo.

Sorry , but they don't have just the costumes to do! The arenas, the new kharacters, the new moves, Konquest mode, Chess Kombat, Puzzle Kombat and many other things! They do their possible to have many cool things in the game so, they can't work on costume 24/24!

Will the costume really have an influence wether you appreciate the game or not? Will it influence your decision to play or not play with a certain character? If so, I think you guys are focusing to much on pointless details.
But hey, thats just my opinion.

That's just like those people that are complaining about Darrius' alternate costume, saying that he's a loser now just cuz of his alternate. Pathetic if you ask me. Who cares what they wear? Why not look at their moves instead of what they look like?

How could u say there lazy. They made 3 other game modes which could have been made next year but they decided to in Deception. U should be satisfied, I sure am.

Look, before the backlash really gets going, everyone on this board nitpicks. This person doesn't like Li Mei's new look, that person doesn't like Kenshi's footwear. This person things Shujinko looks too much like Pai Mei from Kill Bill, that person thinks that Afros are way overdone. The list goes on and on. I don't think that anyones railing on how horrible this game is going to be. I think that everyone respects the time and effort that it takes to make a game that's as enormous as MK:D.
When someone says the MK Team got lazy somewhere, or didn't do something to my or his or her liking, they're just voicing an opinion on something they thought could've been better.
Take a look at some of the other threads on this board. There are some that berate the fact that a certain character is a rip off of another character, or that character only has special moves from past characters, or why this character has that character's fighing style etc etc. It's all nitpicking, and it's all because we want this game to be the best, not just in the series, but for us individually. We each want the game that is perfect for US. That's why you see threads whining about how Frost or Rain or Sareena etc not being in the game. That's why you see threads about why Darrius' new costume looks silly. If we all just sat back and received info, we'd have nothing to talk about. Sure, some gripes get way to specific, but I think we all have those small things about this game that we'd like to see altered or changed to suit what WE think is cool.
Yeah, we're definitely past that info gathering stage and into the critiquing stage. I love this part. Anticipation is the best, especially when we're less than 2 weeks away!
Oh, and Scorpion's alt looks lame as hell. I would've liked to have seen his MK1 costume. Oh, and isn't Li Mei using her alt from MK:DA? Just curious.
