MK v/ DC release date

I just want MK team to take a example from blizzard:
When will Diablo III be released?
Its too early to estimate Diablo IIIs release date. As with all Blizzard Entertainment games, our goal is to create a game that is as fun, balanced, and polished as possible. We intend to take as much time developing Diablo III as is necessary to ensure the game meets our own high expectations and those of our players.

Yeah, seriously, Midway always claim that they ran out of time in creating Mortal Kombat these days. I don't think it's the time, I just think that you have poor creators who don't take the time in truly making things good of Mortal Kombat. Except for hte guy who makes the music, Dan Forden or "Toasty Guy." He's not included with this. But though, everyone else just doesn't seem to understand that it's not just how much time they have until the release date. I mean, I understand that there are release day, but are they always like "Okay, we have exactly one year to make an entire game, but we have to cut it down to at least a half a year to finish making this so that we can show the world how much we suck in making our games now. Okay, begin!"
Yeah, other game companies truly show what they're made of when they are making games for us. Yet, Midway doesn't seem to understand that time is not always the enemy in making games. They don't always need deadlines, they can always turn around and say: "You know what deadline, fuck you! Fuck you in the ass tight!" That's what I think they should consider doing if they're always going to blame the time factor as the biggest issue of why their lastest games are not what we all expected to be... good.

And remeber the mk team started that whole "1 MK every year" junk after MKD came out? 2005, MKSM, 2006, MKU/MKA,2007, MKA Wii.

It's really not the MK Team's fault. I doubt Ed Boon really wants to be releasing half-assed games. It's Midway's fault.
The MK Team is competent, for the most part.

absolutely right. midway has a tendency to rush things. war gods, bio freaks, all those were released on a tight schedule. even mk special forces. ed's team does a great job as long as there's no damn set release dates. everyone should use id software's philosophy: it's done when it's done. better to wait longer for a polished product, then have a half assed 'on time' release.

I still refuse to acknowledge MKDA as being a "solid" game. I feel like it got more credit than people deserved because people were like "holy shit, MK is back."

you know what? we need Tobias back!

^^.................why? I hate the fact that Tobias is regaurded as the savior of mortal kombat when, if i'm not mistaken, he was riding it into the ground with everyone else and then jumped off. Did anyone notice how much better mk:da was then mk 4. Should I say it was because Tobias was NOT present? I'm sorry for venting if you were joking, for some reason that just set me off.
Second. As everyone else has said, Boon and co. are pretty compitant when given the time, as are most developers. But when you have a company a breath away from bankruptcy sitting behind you like a kid in the backseat screaming, "is it ready yet, just put it out", then quality takes a turn for the worse.

I hope they never release this game.

As much as I was against this game when I first heard about it, it would be the bitch-move heard 'round the world if they pulled out now. They're just starting to turn people around with the renders, in-game shots, and the recent interview Boon gave. Why stop now when they're four months from the finish line?

it's too late for it to not be released. I'm against this game too but hopefully they'll make up for this shit-stain idea with good gameplay
