I dont think 33,33,33 combo/pop shit is legit either and I rarely attempt it. NOT because it is a glitch.

See I have a theory that I stick to. If it cant be done offline, I dont do it. Simple.

I use 1,1 also the ocasional 3,3 into a combo because I have no problem doing these combos offline.

33's are only legit because somebody decided that A/C's were legit. It just goes back to when I said that the more effective technique gets the say in what can be used.

You have a game where "rules" can be made up to fit whoever finds a glitch of any sorts. I still don't quite understand why some rules get set, but they do. For example, A/C's and 33's are considered legit short of an infinite. But how did the "rules" become what they are? Why can't I do 4 sets of 33's per pop-up instead of 3? Why isn't the cut-off at 2 sets? 1? 5? Same with A/C's (although most can't do them).

My stance is simply that if somebody is going to fight me and they can get twice as much damage off a pop-up as me, I have no chance in winning. That's why I started. Cuz you're never going to get some people to stay away from attempting monster-combos.

There's just a fundamental difference in players. Take MKD for instance...

Some people think it's fun to play a 20-second match that requires the thinking capacity of 3-4 moves that you have to land once. Others like having longer matches that require you to be successful in many more attempts throughout a match (more opportunities to engage in a match). I think you can apply this mentality to most fighting games.

But again, the more effective technique (for winning) gets to make the rule. Cuz ultimately, the goal is to win. So if somebody's technique can change a mutual character's tier ranking... you HAVE to adopt their style to have a chance.


FOR THE RECORD... I use 33's in MKA and I use OTG's in MKD. But I would much rather not have those elements in my game. But it's not my choice.

If winning is all that matters, then why do we all sit here and denounce KAK and MOB users? Because with all due respect, they actually want to win more than anyone that cares enough to read this message and they will do what it takes to make it happen. So what separates them that person that use any glitch possible to win? I'd like someone to explain that to me in concise language without saying stuff like KAKS are broken. I've played someone that did over 10 33s. I had breakers but I didn't use it because I actually wanted to give them that moment to shine.

Fact of the matter is this.. When I play, I like being inspired through creativity and sound moves. Most of you guys replying here do that bar RED. I don't want to play an opportunist who plugs in just to get a win by any means necessary. Glitches are fine, and we all use them to some degree but if your whole reason of playing online and using any glitch possible to get a win, then you can get the heck off my friends list.

Doohoo - What character can do 2 3,3's in a row offline? As far as I know you cant jump up fast enough for the 2nd 3,3. Whoever it is, I dont use them. If it can be done offline, and its not an infinite, then Im all for 2 of them.


Chaos - I think Check set the limits on the amount of A/C's and 33's/launches based on the "max 3 pop-up" limitation set by MKA. And also at the point when the damage no longer register. I thought I read that some where. *And yes Chaos is very articulate isnt he? Good quality.

people play basketball right? who made up the rules? some of them are silly but all people play by primarily the same rules. 33 is like fancy dribbling. it looks good but not every one does it. plus you don't have to do it to be competitive.

not the best comparison but that is why most people choose to play that way. Something new that is controllable online that takes the game to a new level. key there is controllable. It is very controllable for the most part. if you can't do it...then don't. damage can be done either way.

if you are good, you win no matter how your opponent plays. if they infinite you then i understand why you could be pissed. but if they do it 3 times and put you down for good damage...then do it back or find away around it. use your breakers wisely too and that will help.

to 33, simply jump, and press 33 as close to the ground as possible. you can mash 3 to speed up the frames so that you drop faster: 33(333)
