Name: Johnny Cage
Alignment: Good
Allies: Ermac, Sonya Blade, Kung Lao, Kitana, Jax Briggs
Enemies: Onaga, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung
(Also, unlike in Liu’s bio, I may be using hints discovered in Konquest mode of MKA. I had not played it then but have done now, just in case some of you get a little bit confused.)
We see Johnny Cage from his point of view, however the screen is blurred and blood red. We can tell that Cage is moving around and from the sound effects we can tell that he is in the midst of battle. Cage stops moving so the blurriness is not as drastic, and we see the outline of the events happening. A quick shot of 2 men hanging in the air then slamming to the ground, then we hear a woman screaming, then we see a figure kneeling as if to help someone lying on the floor. The chaos seems to halt temporarily and a figure stands and looks at the camera...as if to stare right at our faces. As Johnny moves again the screen becomes blurry, and we hear a hiss, resembling that of many people making the same noise at the same time. The camera immediately shoots forward to see 2 intense luminous eyes simply staring threateningly at the screen. We now leave Cage’s point of view and zoom out across the room. In the background, Sonya, Jax and Kung Lao are on the floor and the spirit Liu Kang is sitting next to Kitana; these are the blurred figures. Zooming out even further, we reveal in very slow-motion Cage sliding across the dirt with one leg, and the other leg propped up at a 90-degree angle. He is performing his Shadow Kick attack. We look at a spirit-like version of Cage which then disappears into nothing i.e. it is one of the many shadows left behind after his attack. Johnny Cage has the utmost focus on the green eyes, revealed to belong to Ermac. Without looking phased, Ermac grips Johnny Cage’s leg and on impact the scene breaks away from slow motion and Ermac hurls Johnny Cage by the leg into the wall behind him. Once he makes contact with the wall, dust kicks off from the arena they are in (to emphasise the speed at which Ermac threw Johnny Cage.) Johnny Cage slumps to the ground revealing a huge crack in the wall and there is a blackout.
(I’m not being a bad writer, I just imagine that the following is the way in which Johnny Cage would say it, even if it does make him sound like a tw@)
“It was pretty much this whole experience that got me thinking about life and stuff. Death tends to do that to you. I never saw it coming but the guys and I actually failed to stop the Deadly Alliance, worse yet we were all killed! Now, Ermac may have beaten the crap outta all 5 of us, but you have to consider that he is a whole buncha souls from strong fighters from all over the ages, so it was challenging. But I just tell people that I won. And if anyone contradicts, I’ll say that I let him win to free us all. Anyway, after death I realised that I cared more about Sonya and the guys than a lot of the stuff I’d regarded as important in my former life. When you’re an actor you go through a lot of personas and everyone around you is either a liar or brutally truthful. As successful as I wanted to be in the film industry, it heavily clouded my vision and made me weak. I couldn’t even save Sonya, and in movies the guy always saves the girl, it’s how it is. The way I saw it I had 2 options. Fake experiences or real ones, and if I really wanted to improve my fighting and show the world how to kick ass, I needed to prove it. The first and perhaps most obvious task to complete to at least show the others that my life will be worth saving, was to find out what happened to Liu’s body. The others and I walked endlessly to seek answers, which was where we discovered that the one responsible for the disrespect of Kang’s body as well as the mass-murder of anyone getting in his path was the same one who resurrected us to do his bidding; The Dragon King Onaga. Onaga was our main focus on revenge, but it was at this point where something interrupted. It seemed tat with out rebirth came the rebirth of other kombatants, past and present. We all got wind of a mystical pyramid where the one who could defeat a being of flames would obtain God-like power. Ironic, as our lives and the lives of our enemies returned, Armageddon was amongst us. We headed for Edenia looking for our mentors, Raiden and Fujin for answers. But Raiden was nowhere to be seen and Fujin was difficult to track. Once found, Fujin told us the story of Blaze and how the realms fate depends on who defeats him, if anybody. I see no other option but to go to Edenia. If this may be the last fight, I want to be involved with my state of mind, with my counterparts, and against our deadliest of foes. With God-like power, we can end the tyranny that is Outworld and I can prove myself to our world. This “pyramid” is our fate, and I intend to exploit that for the first prize. I have the Deadly Alliance and Onaga to thank for bringing me this new perspective and life, but that is where my thanks ends and they will remember these coming days as the days they got CAGED!”

Battle 6; Raiden- Johnny enters a room. He looks down and sees that he is beyond the halfway point of the pyramid. Raiden is seen battling Nightwolf. (Details here will be vague until Nightwolf or Raiden’s bio. It is not good to focus away from the one characters bio, so all that is said here is that they fight.) Raiden delivers a blow to Nightwolf, which causes a wall to collapse. Nightwolf quickly runs out of it. “Raiden?” Raiden sharply turns around to see Johnny Cage, despite this knowledge he retains his fighting position. “Why were you battling Nightwolf? Is he not on our side?” Raiden replies “It is no longer a case of “sides” anymore Johnny Cage. I saw Nightwolf’s intentions and opposed them, hence our battle.” Johnny is still confused. “Surely you have similar intentions...both of you wish to protect Earth. Come on, I’ll show the others you’re here.” As Johnny heads towards an opening, Raiden creates an electric shield, which sends Johnny backwards. He spits out some blood, “What the hell!?” Sighing, “I’m afraid you cannot go any further Johnny. Shao Kahn, Onaga and the Deadly Alliance must be the victors. Only then can I ensure the peace of both Earthrealm and its kombatants.” Johnny refuses to acknowledge this. “Raiden, that’s crazy. Sure, we were beaten before, but we’re all much stronger now, we can beat this thing together.” Raiden remains emotionless, “No Johnny, for the greater good, you must remain here.” Cockily, “And if I don’t...?” Raiden holds his staff up proudly and causes a bolt of lightening to come crashing down outside the pyramid. His eyes glowing a fiery white, Johnny prepares to face his God in battle.
After Raiden’s defeat, Mokap enters. “Johnny! Quickly we have to get to the top.” Johnny exclaims, “It was Raiden...he seemed different, I can’t describe it. What the hell has gotten into him!?”. Mokap replies, “Leave him, we have to go through there now (pointing at the hole in a wall). Johnny Cage rushes out only to get kicked from behind by his “ally”. He is nearly knocked over the edge, he clutches on for life. Mokap walks over. “What the hell has gotten into you? You’re acting like Raiden!” Mokap slowly morphs into Shang Tsung. He looks at Raiden’s unconscious body, “No matter, his involvement was somewhat meaningless. I suppose that I why he was referred to as our pawn.” Johnny turns to see Shang Tsung. He continues, “You were easy enough to kill the first time, this time should be no different.” He attempts to stamp him off but Cage flips back onto the balcony of the pyramid. His teeth grip together. “Why is Raiden behaving this way!?” Shang Tsung stayed silent. “Words cannot express how much suffering you have caused Shang. You won’t be able to fool me this time, I’m prepared.” Shang Tsung grins, “Good, this one still has some fight in him. I think you can keep me occupied before I go up against Blaze. You’re soul may even be a worthy addition to my powers, Lord knows it was not before.”
Battle 7; Shang Tsung- The fight ends with Shang Tsung throwing a punch to Cage, who rolls under it grabbing his wrist. He slams his wrist to the ground and steps on it, trapping him. He proceeds to punch Tsung over and over, to the point where even he sheds a tear. He manges to break the wall of the pyramid with Shang Tsung’s head, then sits down, still confused over what is happening to everyone. Souls very very slowly seep from Tsung’s twitching body (we do not see what has happened to his face.) creating both a calm yet eerie effect. They float upwards and Blaze’s red glow reflects on them, and the light therefore reflects down to Johnny. It prompts him to look upwards at Blaze, and we know that he is now determined to beat Blaze before anyone else, on order to find out the truth behind everything and save the world. He walks though a wall of floating souls as he climbs his way to the top.
Battle 8; Blaze- Johnny Cage rushes to the top of the pyramid but does not enter the arena too hastily. A battle is already commencing. It is Blaze and Onaga. Onaga shoots a fireball at Blaze; it does nothing, Blaze then steamrolls Onaga, melts behind him then grabs him by the head and cracks his face with his head. Onaga’s shattered helmet rolls towards Johnny Cage who remains hidden. Blaze circles the desperate Onaga. “You!” Blaze shouts, “You are the one that caused this whole mess with the brothers! It was YOU who enslaved me to guard your tomb and hinder my quest!”
Onaga looks confused. Blaze grabs him by the neck and stomps over to the other side of the pyramid and throws him off. Onaga becomes fully conscious again as he falls into a group of kombatants, all of which fall even further from the pyramid. Onaga remains there to rest thus hindering the path of Johnny Cage’s allies. Fujin projects himself upwards to the top to talk to Johnny Cage as he enters the arena. “That was my kill, asshole!” Johnny says as he puts on his shades. Blaze turns and marches closer to Johnny. Fujin interrupts, “Johnny!” he calls. “Send ‘em up” Johnny replies in a cocky manner. Fujin explains “The others can no longer get here from where they are, they need to take the route from the other side.” Johnny turns to Fujin and takes off his shades, “You mean...the ambush is gone??” Johnny turns to see Blaze towering over him. He decks him and Johnny is sent almost over the edge, very close to Fujin. Despite his efforts to catch them, his glasses fall over the side. (To himself), “Dammit! At least they were cheap knock-offs. (To Fujin) So what was our contingency plan?” Fujin nods to Blaze who is waiting for battle. Johnny looks clueless; Fujin nods again. Johnny turns and sees Blaze and understands that he has to fight alone. “You gotta be freaking kidding me!” He gets up. “You need to stall Blaze until the others can get here, but they won’t be able to do it without my help, there are still many kombatants down there hoping for the same thing as us. Good luck Johnny!” “Thanks!” Johnny replies in a sarcastic tone. As Fujin disappears Johnny puts on another pair of glasses. He quips to himself “And they laughed when I bought them in bulk.” Still focusing on Cage, a miniature fireball hits his eyes and the shades disintegrate. Blaze gives out a mighty roar and Johnny Cage prepares for his final battle. The battle ensues.
Blaze lands one hefty punch, a second, and a third, which sends Johnny Cage spiralling to the ground. Blaze lifts him by the hair and as he lays the final blow, the fist goes through Johnny Cage’s face...only, the face merely disappears as opposed to breaking and bleeding. Blaze is confused by this then turns to see Johnny Cage elsewhere in the arena. He marches over but the same thing happens again; it is as if punching air. It goes to slow motion as Johnny Cage darts through the arena doing his patented Shadow Kick, fooling Blaze as to where he really is. Cage taps Blaze on the back then proceeds to lay blow after blow down upon Blaze who is still unsure what is happening. Cage delivers a Shadow Kick attack directly to the side of Blaze’s kneecap thus breaking it and sending Blaze on his knees. Johnny lifts Blazes head and punches him square in the face and continues to do this until Blaze is near the edge of the pyramid. Preparing for his Johnny Uppercut attack, his fist glows bright green. Fujin and the others appear in the arena to see Cage launch the mighty Blaze into the air with his move and off the edge. He watches over to see Blaze hit the bottom and become lifeless streams of molten fire. The kombatants who had been racing to the top see Cage standing triumphantly. Cage begins to say “Those were $500 sun-” but he is quickly interrupted by the excitement of his allies. Whilst the others show him support, Raiden appears. Weary of his previous actions, they all get ready for a fight, but Raiden walks on claiming not to mean any harm. Raiden is gracious that Earthrealm secured the victory against Blaze and that one of the kombatants he felt he represented in the past had delivered the final blow. Despite his kind words, Cage disregarded them and walked over to Fujin, the God he considered the one to look up to now. Fujin also personally congratulated Cage for what he had done and assured him that his new lifestyle would be worth the trouble. His name would go down along with the other heroes of Earthrealm and as promised to whoever defeated Blaze, he would become a full God, and Protector of Edenia. As they left however, Cage sensed that something was incomplete and needed to be done before he claimed his prize. The task found a way of presenting itself however...A gust of wind created a smokescreen for the kombatants. “Fujin, what are you doing” asks Raiden. Worryingly, Fujin states “It is not me...I fear we are not alone”. All but Raiden and Fujin covered their mortal eyes, and only a shadow of a figure could be made out. The sound of flapping became greater and we could tell the figure is getting closer. A huge stomp shakes the pyramid and the smoke clears away to leave Onaga, who felt he had recovered since his fight with Blaze. “Ahh, Raiden, you have lured them all together for me, I must thank you.” Raiden sharply replies, “I have done nothing for you Onaga, I do what is good for Earthrealm.” “This is not the deal we made, Raiden!” bellows Onaga. Raiden firmly holds his staff in place, pointing it at Onaga. “Cage beat you to Blaze and has won the tournament for Earthrealm, our “deal” is no more.”
Onaga immediately looks at Johnny Cage who stares angrily at him. Onaga projects his flames towards him but Raiden teleports in the way of it, shouting for Cage to get back to Earthrealm with the others immediately. As Raiden weakens, Fujin throws a gust of Wind to Onaga, which does nothing to him. He flies up to Fujin’s level towering above him, grabs him and throws him into Raiden’s aching body. Onaga lunges towards them but Cage stands his ground and fronts him. “Stay away from them!” “Ahh, one of my puppets wishes to be a master like myself,” laughs Onaga. Johnny boldly states, “I am no puppet of yours” before preparing to battle Onaga.
(As you may notice Blaze is usually the Boss but afterwards there will be a personal enemy of the kombatant that must be faced. I personally prefer it that way)
Final Battle; Onaga- At the start of the battle, Onaga has less than a full life bar of health, but his triumphant roar brings it back to normal. With new, improved and faster God-like abilities Cage manages to wrestle with Onaga in mid-air. His air kombat techniques do not seem to work at first but Cage soon gets behind Onaga and grips the plate in his back that connects his 2 wings. With all his might, he proceeds to rip it out and throw his mighty wings to the ground. Raiden provides a protective electrical force to shield the allies whilst Fujin uses a gust to send the wings elsewhere. Without his ability to fly and his great loss of blood, Onaga collapses, bringing Johnny Cage with him. The allies are shocked and can only watch as the dust clears away from the potentially dead bodies. We see a very slight movement, which turns out to be Cage, climbing out from Onaga’s body. The allies go to hug him including the two Gods. “You saved them?” Johnny asks Raiden, replying, “I told you, I live to-” Johnny interrupts, “Yeh yeh I know. It’s good to have you back Raiden.” Johnny’s motive had been fulfilled, and along the way the main threats to Earth’s future were put to a final stop. The fighters had all been reunited and were able to return home with the knowledge they obtained since they’re deaths. Though it was tough for Johnny to depart from Earthrealm under the fake report of him being killed in a subway downtown and live as a God knowing that he will only be remembered in Earth as a great actor, he knew that it was an opportunity to start afresh. He went on to be a wise God and took solace in the fact that like Raiden and Fujin, he still watched over his old mortal allies.

BIO 1
After our assault against the Daedly Alliance I Johnny "the Great One,The Best,One and Only" Cage and my friends Jax and Sonya fought against a army of tarkatans. With their help i defeated all Tarkatans, just to see Kung lao and Kitana get killed By Quan Chi and Shang tsung.
For the first time in my life i was scared by my enemy: the two sorcerers were outnumbered, but they win.
Shang Tsung knocked me off, absorbing my soul.
My suffering was short lived,Onaga defeates my former freind Raiden and the Deadly Alliance, and resurrected me alongside my buddies to be used as Bodyguards.
For my luck i was defeated by my long time friend Liu Kang and a mysterious ninja called Ermac.
For the first time i wasn't the hero of the day,but i was pretty glad of our victory.
When Blaze spown during the final battle between Good and Evil,a huge pyramid grows on the ground, just in the middle of the final war.
I defeated a lot of fighters,of course, because i won't lose another fight in all my life, and i have to climb that damn pyramid.
More i get closer to the top, more viciuos and dangerous i was.
I push away Sonya and i was attacked by hsu hao,one of Jax terrorists little friends and after a long fall i defeated him.
but my problems are just started

taken by desperaton i left like a coward the battlefield.
I saw Raiden but instead of console me,he tried to kill me,alongside with Shinnok.
With the surprising help of Kurtis Stryker,Nightwolf and Fujin i escaped.
Fujin killed Both raiden adn Shinnok, but i was challanged by Blaze himself.

Johnny Cage went on a suicidal single mission:take on Kano and Goro in a two on one fight.
The former hollywood action movie star killed both of them.

he loose the woman of his life.
Johnny cage once again fought beside his friends in the protection of out world from the forces of evil. But this time it was different. The team work of the deadly alliance made them stronger and cleverer than any enemy they had faced before, and with Liu kang dead the moral of the team was low. Raiden lead Johnny and the other warriors to do battle with the deadly alliance, but were ambushed just outside shang tsungs temple. One by one cage’s alleys fell in battle until only he and raiden remained. Cage was saddened by the loss of his friend Liu kang, and watching his friends die made his sorrow grow heaver. But like the characters in his movies Johnny cage would not surrender and he fought to avenge his friends. But eventually he too fell in battle. As cage’s soul exited his body he saw the spirits struggling against the pull of shang tsungs soulnado. Cage would not allow his friends to suffer such a horrid fate. Though he had no physical body cage could still manifest the same energy that makes his force ball and shadow kick possible. he was able to focus just enough to shield his friends from the pull of the tornado. With them all safe the dead hero’s prepared to move on to the afterlife. But as they struggled against the soulnado the dragon king had returned and gathered there body’s and repaired there damage. There souls were forced back into themselves and were enslaved by the dragon king.
Cage was forced to do the bidding of the dragon king and he struggled against the will that controlled him. But it was no use. Ermac arrived and cage assumed he would be forced to aid him in service to onoga. But to his surprise cage’s body attacked, apparently ermac was now one of the good guys. The situation was dire, outworld was in turmoil edena and earthrealm alike were in danger of invasion and possibly destruction. Cage himself was forced to do evil and was now locked in mortal kombat with a stronger warrior who was certain to kill him once and for all. Despite all this cage couldent help but think how ermac’s arrival would make a great plot twist to a film.
Liu kang’s spirit arrived and freed cage, along with every one else, from onaga’s control. Cage was delighted to see his friend again even if it was only his spirit. Perhaps he would get to say goodbye. But ermac insisted in hurrying to the final confrontation of the dragon king.
Ermac lead the way, wile cage brought up the rear. Happening to see movement reflected in his sunglasses Johnny realized someone was sneaking up from behind. With a shadow kick Johnny put an end to the surprise attack before it had begun. It was baraka, the one who had killed him earlier. Johnny offered to stay behind to fight baraka allowing the others to move on. The others left and cage battled baraka.
Baraka was confident he could kill the undisciplined Johnny cage once again, but he underestimated the skills of the movie star and was defeated.
After the death of the dragon king cage returned to and after biding farwell to his allys he traveld to the secluded tomb of Liu kang to pay his respects. Fear and panic struck him when he found several dead monks. Johnny followd the sound of commotion to the courtyard just outside the tomb. Cage was horrified to see the decomposing corpse moving about attempting to kombat what was unmistakeingly his own soul. Spirit Liu spotted Johnny and asked for his assistance. Johnny had always lost to liu when sparing, and now in a fight to the death Johnny’s life was almost assuredly forfeit. But the film star knew what was at stake if he didn’t stop the monster. With spirit liu’s guidance and the fact that zombie kang lacked wisdom and discipline, Johnny cage won. Johnny placed his friend’s broken body back in its tomb and finally said goodbye to his spirit. He did so with the same smile and amusement in his voice, though his sunglasses hid the tears in his eyes.
Johnny couldn’t help but be impressed by the fighting skills of ermac, and the story of his origin couldn’t help but inspire him. johnny thus wrote produced and stared in the movie “ermac” based loosely on the warrior he met in outworld. The movie was blasted by most critics as being “too convoluted and confusing” as well as “lacking character development” but the movie was still a big box office succsess.
During negotiations for the sequil cage’s path again crossed paths with the Special Forces. The leader of the new black dragon kabal had apparently found out the main villain in “Ermac” was based of him and he now is out to kill him. The Special Forces got wind of kabal’s intentions and Sonya blade decided to stay close to Johnny to head them off, though Johnny couldn’t help but think she had an ulterior motive for staying close to him. He reframed from saying this, remembering the last time he made a comment like that.
When Sektor resurfaced cage decided to accompany Sonya as she investigated rather than wait around for kabal to show up. They were soon visited by raiden who informed them of an inevitable confrontation between the forces of light and darkness for a powerful force that threatened earthrealm. He then transported them to a creator were they met with several allies. It wasn’t long before chaos ensued and cage was thrown in the most frantic battle he had ever been apart of, on screen or in real life. He battled against some guy he never met before, and Johnny couldn’t help but wonder how he fit into all this. Soon a pyramid rose from the ground with fire on top. The fighters all soon began to race to the top. Johnny also rushed not seeing who he knocked down along the way. He spotted kenshi battling quan chi and was ready to jump in but was blocked by hsu hao. The grappled and fell further down the pyramid. Jax came from behind and pulled hsu hao off cage. Before jax could kill him again he was attacked by jerik. Cage saved jax returning the favor jax gave him seconds before. They were both ambushed by other black dragon members with kabal focusing on Johnny. Mavodo interfered attacking kabal accidentally saving cage. Johnny then hit kano with a forceball sending him down the pyramid almost literally into sonya’s lap. Cage gave her the thumbs up but was suddenly knocked out by the wave of energy released by taven’s armor.
Ending
He awoke sometime later and found he had increased strength and dexterity. He returned to hollowood and found that a sequel to ermac had been made with a different cast and production team and was as a mad for tv movie sci-fi original. It was appallingly bad and despised by fans of the original. Johnny thought his fans deserved better, he reprised his roll in “ermac’s awakening” a prequel to the original which would be released in theaters. After his adventures cage had started seeing the world in a less superficial way and began searching for enlightenment. This affected the script for “ermac’s awakening” and ended up making it a far superior film to the original resulting in better reviews from critics. More importantly the fans loved it and were thrilled to see the character return as he should be. Viewed as a resurrection of the franchise Hope is high for a real sequel to replace the TV one, which everyone considers “non cannon.”
I hope there’s no confusion when I talk about the ermac movies. To clarify there are two ermacs, the real one, and the character Johnny cage plays in the two movies that’s based on the real one.
