What is this obsession with Tremor? Oh wait, I know . . . he's a ninja. Give me a break. All you ninja fans need to stop acting like you give a shit about the story, or any potential impact Tremor might have on it. They could make an MK game with no story, and just 20 pallette-swapped, identical ninjas, and you would be in heaven.

When you ask any ninja nuthugger what storyline potential Tremor might have, it's immediately "LOL I KNO LYN KWAY!" That whole Tremor-being-replaced-by-Rain thing was just a rumor. No sources or back-up information were ever uncovered to back this up. It is just a stupid fantasy made up by all you guys who just want MK to consist of nothing but unoriginal ninjas.

Also, don't hit me with any crap about Tremor possibly pushing the Black Dragon story any further. We already have Kano, Kira, Kabal, Kobra, and Jarek who have all been members of the Black Dragon. Plus, we have Hsu Hao and Mavado in the Red Dragon.

Tremor sucks, Monster sucks. Get over it. In fact, Mortal Kombat: Special Forces was the worst game to carry the Mortal Kombat name. It's the bastard child of the franchise and all but Jax, Kano, and Jarek should be disregarded as non-canon.

Finally, before anyone else says "IT'S NOT JUST CUZ TREMOR IS A NINJA!" I beg the question, why not Tasia? Why not No Face?

Has anyone thought that monster could be Scorpion I know it is stupid but he could be all torn up from the neather realm that could be his mask melted on his skull those things on his back could be melted swords and his stomach could be missing from an oni fight it is a realy stupid Idea but it makes a little sense if Shujinko did not succeed in destroying him.

Monster should be a secret outfit for Scorpion nothing more. and who the fuck is Tremor, Jaakta, Kia or whatever... those character are in unofficial fan art or what? They are not needed.

actually i think konquest was originally supposed to involve some type of stupid time travel thing and monster was supposed to be scorpion from the very far future or some BS like that.
the time travel idea was scrapped because it was silly and was also confusing but they liked monster's look so much that they put him in there anyway.

Thank you, that saved me the trouble of typing all of that. Tremor has nothing to add to any story, not the Black Dragon or the Lin Kuei. Besides the whole Special Forces story has gone to shit since MK2, even the fascinating originality of Tremor can't save it. I wish people could let it go, he's not even a real character in my opinion. I also remember somebody (think it was Chrome) saying that MKSF has been retconned anyway so he's gone, deal with it, make him a KAK, and maybe we can find something better to discuss.

Tremor is cool, he is very very muscular, he can produce tremors and earthquakes.I already toghut a story for him, he lest the Lin kuei right? maybe he wants to destroy sub zero or noob saibot, becasue something happened back in the days were the elder sub zero was a lin Kuei.

Ermac_rain, see milsar's post, and read it carefully. This is exactly the kind of thing that Tremor fans use to justify his presence in the game. It's been done, and it's unoriginal - not to offend you or anything. MK doesn't need any more ninjas - it's one of the many reasons why people started laughing at the series in the first place. If there HAD to be a Special Forces or MKM character, I'd much rather have Tassia in. Hell, I'd take the water god. He's a naked man made of water, but he's already got more going for him appearance-wise than Tremor does.

monster was just a way for them to put an un-used alt. in the game...and tremor...tremor should go back to the hell john tobias spawned him from... these charactars have no real place in this game and by all rights should be disregaurded.......

Man monster was just a alt for scorpion, he aint a different character. Get into your heads! As somebody ealier said, Konquest was going to deal with time travel and that was going to be a earlier/later version of Scorpion but they scrapped it because it was so confusing. But they loved the monster costume so they still included it in the game.

Once again I stand beside Shadaloo and support his opinion.

But if they do bring in Tremor, which I HIGHLY doubt they will, they should make him original, not a ninja.
