MORE EFFORT FOR NINTENDO ON DECEPTION

Ok, Da Huster, what you just said makes you look like the most ignorant fool in the world. If it's too 'kiddie' than you'd best be rid of it before it contaminates your maturity.
Sure, I'll suppport it on GameCube, if for no other reason than so people with only a GameCube - or people who prefer it on GameCube, like myself - can get it there.
MK5 sold a quarter million copies - for a third party title on GameCube, that's astronomical... and it's a solid number for ANY game. I'm actually quite surprised that Midway dropped MK6 on GameCube; it's more of a slap in the face than a really sound business decision, because an extra quarter million sales isn't anything to spit on.
I'd prefer it on GameCube, and I'll buy it on GameCube if it comes out for that system.

Nintendos past image is holding it back. Yea they released solid titles in the past, but know they are just lame. Besides PS2 and XBox offer DVD and online play that's popular, nintendo needs to get with the program.

Amen to veinz, glad to see i'm not the only one supporting the Gamecube while people trash talk it all the time. Anyone who trash talks any system is quite immature, and I think we saw a few in this thread already.
I too have all 3 systems, and it doesn't bother me personally much if it doesn't come out on the cube. I agree the gamecube controller probably isn't the best for a fighting game, but it's a matter of opinion. If some kid out there only has a Gamecube, yeah he should be able to get it. I think it should come out for Gamecube, but really, what can you do? Just hope that Midway does the right thing.
And to say that Gamecube's games are kiddy, that is the most immature thing i've ever heard. If they'd actually play Gamecube, they wouldn't be missing out on Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Pikmin (my new favorite franchise I can't wait for part 2). PS2 does have an overall stronger lineup, but can their games match the legacy of nintendo quality and legacy? I think not. Funny to see a guy who owns all 3 systems and prefers gamecube titles eh? No games out there capture me like Nintendo titles do. I got over halfway through ratchet and clank 2, and stopped playing it because some games just don't capture me like Metroid or Pikmin, those games I play until I beat them because I can't stop.
And as for Xbox... I don't like Halo much, but I bought one about a week ago for Ninja Gaiden and i'm not at all disappointed.
Hope to be playing Doom 3 or Half-Life 2 with some of you soon :)

I love how a mature game is only considered mature if it's violent. How about a game like Waverace? I'd say it's a mature game, it uses lifelike models and physics and doesn't involve any cartoon aspects.
At the same time, Zelda could be considered somewhat violent and mature in that way I guess, but the graphics are very cartoon like.
There are too many ways to determine a "mature" title these days, and a lot of "kids" games on Nintendo really aren't "kids" games once you start playing them. Zelda has a lot of killing with realistic weapons and moves, as well, it is not rated for everyone, it is a teen title. The same Teen title that I believe Killer Instinct got when released for SNES years ago (I could be worng, but I don't think it got the 17 rating).
Mortal Kombat 6 should definately come out for Cube. I may still get the Xbox version because I want the cleaner graphics, but I'm certain a Gamecube version would sell better than DA even without multiplayer support.

I'm sorry, you make some good points, but those GC games you mentioned are pretty childish...
No need for the hate, though... keep on keeping on.

Its only an opinion to you if its childish. I know people that play super mario and zelda, and they are 25 and older, i, and my cousins play those games all the time. I always play games like mario party, mario kart double dash and others, and i love it. Not to mention ps2, i have that to and i play games for it as well.
I would love it if deception game out for gamecube, because i'm better at the gamecube controller than the ps2's. But since its coming out for the ps2 for sure, i dont mind at all getting it for it. Either one is fine for me. And nintendo is awesome, its opinion.

I don't think saying "nintendo is awesome" is opinion... seems pretty much all fact to me :)

Midway is a broke ass company.
Thats a fact, look at all their cut backs.
They don't think the gamecube will push too many copies, so there not going to bother. It would be too pricy to put it on gamecube, then not sell many copies.

ya know i can honestly say i am glad i started this post. It gives me hope. So far still no word from Midway but like i said if it doesn't turn out good. I will be going to midway myself to get a explanation or to donate the money to have it produced myself. but either way the it will be on gamecube and i am keeping that promise.

Its sad. The GC version of Deception would be much cleaner and crisper than PS2. If only the controller could handle a fighting game. But i do feel for all u GC owners. Its not worth buying a new system for ONE game. Midway should probably rethink their strategy on this.

If only the gamecube controller could be more comfortable for fighting games than it already IS.
With the crisp graphics and everything else, i do hope it makes it for gamecube. My cousin lives in NY and he only has a gamecube, and hes obsessed with mortal kombat. So i hope deception makes it for gamecube.
