More game modes please!!

The games looking really nice so far, can't wait till oct/nov/dec... whenever it's coming out in Australia. But after reading the gamespot hands-on preview i see that they have kombat, chess kombat, puzzle kombat & konquest, but was disappointed to see that they once again haven't included any extra single player modes, eg team battle, survival/endurance, tag battle etc. I really wanted something that you could quickly have a few rounds, without having to play arcade mode....oh well maybe MK7

It would be great to see Tag battles or Survival Kombat and maybe some Endurance modes. Hopefully they can be unlocked. If not, there's always MK7.

i never really thought about unlocking them, i always figured its sort of standard for it to be there, but unlocking will be good too!! so long as there is at least one of them somewhere smile

I already wrote to MIDWAY about :
Tag Team,Survivel,Tournament,2 on 2,Time Attack,Endurance,2 on 2 - Free For All or Battle 4 players on the screen at the same time.I didn got a responce so far..

Also they can make Tag team mode and the other mode that i explained abouve ( 4 players on the screen fighting at the same time) with no problem because we all saw Noob/Smoke thing.

It would be so cool if they had tag like they did in tournament edition, so i can use my 2 favs at 1 time and own everyone smile Sindel+Ermac
Those modes should be basic.

I'd also like an opton that makes every fighter as hard to beat as the last one before the boss.

So the first guy instead of being really easy to beat, they'd be hard.


That would be a nice option for Arcade and all those other basic modes.

Main site says we'll have a tournament mode. I'd love tag team, survival, endurance matches, etc, but don't get your hopes up now at this point in time. Just be patient for MK7, and enjoy Deception the way it is.

Man MIDWAY didnt responded me so far :( ...
About the modes and MK 7,shit im talking about those modes since the first Baraka render so dont tell me to wait untill mk 7..and i expect something really major from, mk 7 not just those modes that must be in Deception.

Well "kinda" DONT satisfy my hunger for MORE KOMBAT MODES .. im talking about BIG tings here SHIT!!!!!!Then when the game piss you off and you have nothing to do like happened with MK:DA when you unlock all the koffins in krypt you will say well that game suxx ass.. but if there are such modes as i wrote above you will never say that,..especially cuz there will be more like Chess,Puzzle maybe Test your might/sight and even more..

One thing that i've noticed is that the games that midway releases/publishes, don't usually have anything's like these. Only ports done by other companies eg. MK3 (Sculptured software), MK4/MKGold (Eurocom), seem to ever have extra modes included. Which is why i'm not getting my hopes up too much for them to be in MK:D.

The only mode I am worried about is good gameplay mode.I can do without all the fluff.Don't get me wrong.I think Chess and puzzle mode are pretty cool....but not if theres not some good solid gameplay in the fighting mode.As long as there is that,I don't care if theres 1 or 80 other modes.
