Well, since most are in/out, let's go for a couple of off the wall choices...

Monster

Monster, when the Elder Gods chose him, was leader of a small race of beings known simply as "Monsters" by others, they had no name for their own race, too concered with merely existing to bother with names, beyond individuals. They lived in Outworld, along side many other races that were seen as mythical in Earthrealm, Werewolves, Bashees and, of course, Vampires.

Vampires and Monsters shared similar grounds, albeit the land and sky mainly. Thus, the two tribes had been hunting and fighting each other on and off for many thousands of years. However Monster (taking the name when he took control of the tribe) was a brilliant fighter, and thus thanks to him the Monsters were systamatically hunting down and killing off the Vampires.

And then the Elder Gods came calling, Fujin his main supporter, the one who pushed for his selection.

Naturally, Monster accepted their call, and he left to become their Champion. Unforunatly this led to a power struggle in the Monster Clan, and while Monster was in the Neatherrealm dealing with some demons the Vampires, having been unifed fully for the first time in their existance, found, fought and killed the entire Monster Tribe, and thus, seeing how well they got on, forming a real tribe of their own.

Monster was upset, but he had to cope, had to move on. So he did, and as his first act, went to protect the Nexus from Damashi (aka Onaga)'s errand boy.

And he failed. Thus, he was stripped of his power and position, and left to wander the realms, his ability to transport himself the sole remaining gift of the gods. But now that the One Being is close, the Elder Gods are calling in all their former champions, making every effort. This is Monster's chance to right his failure, to prove himself, and maybe, if he does manage to win the day, ask the Gods for a favour, and return his people...

It was meant to be simple. Stop this foolish young man, kill him, save the Nexus, go on to the next stop. And yet, he beat me. THE KID BEAT ME. And after losing my race to those damm Vampires, it was the final straw. I had lost everything, my race, my power, my position, my honor, everything. And I was cursed to spend the rest of my existance roaming the worlds, until I finally died.

But now, I have a second chance. The Gods are granting all former Champions their power, having to call in all their weapons in an effort to stop the One Being. This is my chance for redemption. If I can stop the One Being, I can win back the Gods favour, and perhaps gain back everything that I have lost, my power, my postion, my race. My family. And, of course, save existance. That's a good thing too.

First outfit would be his one from MKD, just tarnished, damaged, one horn broken off. Second would be him without armor, his white and black skin and muscles showing.

Special Moves:

Monster Mash: Monster dives across the screen. If he hits the opponent he slams him into the ground in a tackle, taking off a chunk of power. If he misses, he goes into a roll and stands. Same as Hsu Hao's jump move.

"GET OUT OF HERE!": Monster tosses a heavy, modified Kunai. If it hits the opponent is sends them flying back from the impact. If they are near an edge they are stuck there for a moment, the Kunai in the wall. Monster cannot push an opponent into a death trap with one such Kunai, but a second one can, if they are teetering (the replacement for being stuck when no wall is on the bonudry). Can be ducked and sidestepped but not jumped, Monster tosses it overarm.

Gotcha!: Instead of a usual throw, Monster can grab the opponent and begin to land in blow after blow. A correctly timed block can break the hold.

I'm Horny: Monster charges, slamming the opponent with his shoulder/shoulder horn.

Fatality moves: Kunai to the head, both arms, legs, chest and pelvis. (7 different moves)
Eye rake, taking eyes out
Headbutt, cracking skull/neck.

Meat

Shinnok was not a man to be confused by much. But one thing that did always puzzle him about Quan Chi, while the sourcerer worked for him, was the delight he had in sending his manservant, an animated skelton he called Meat, on demening, stupid tasks. Quan seemed to always be so amused by sending Meat to go fetch a certain flower miles away, to go feed the hounds, to make the tea. Quan always said Meat was just the animated corpse of one of his former foes, but there had to be more to it. But Shinnok was more concerned with other, more important matters, and never bothered to find out.

The joke was, that Meat was not just anyone's bones. Quan Chi had animated the corpse of one Hanzo Hasashi, aka Scorpion. Quan, after repairing the skelton's neck, liked to order around the corpse of the one who had failed him, it gave him pleasure. Meat didn't care, it was just a sack of bones animated by magic, it had no mind, no identity.

But then, when Quan Chi was taken back to the Netherrealm by Scorpion, Meat had no master, no purpose. So it wondered around aimlessly, waiting for a purpose, orders, anything. Most people ran or beat it up, confused or scared by the bloody skelton, until eventually a hermit farmer, living in a small valley between mountains in Earthrealm used the skelton to help him control the weeds on his farm, the hermit liking the help, Meat just doing what it was told.

But then came Scorpion's rise as Champion. In order to become Champion, the Elder Gods gave Scorpion power, they performed rights, cerimonies. And as a side effect, somehow, Meat recived he power too. Meat now had a real purpose, a real order. Stop the One Being. Save the Elder Gods. And, like it always did, it would follow it's orders...

Outfit: He'd look like he did in Gold, albeit with a thin overlay of the essance of a being, you can just make out a youngish Asian man overlaying the bones ala Spirit Liu's apperance. The second outfit would have the overlay solider, clearer.

Moves:
Here.: Meat's bones rearrange themselves, and its arms shoot across the screen, grab the opponent and pull them in.

Tenderizer: It zooms forward, arms flaing about in an unblockable flurry, dodgeable.

Spirit Ball: It can kick forth a small ball of energy from his overview, which damages him slightly but if it hits, zooms back to give Meat a portion of his opponent's energy.

Meatball: Same as above, except with the other foot and it sends a ball of blood and bone, merely damaging the opponent.

Fataliites: Eh, can't be bothered. This is my first attempt after all.

I feel that Reiko should come back. Although in MK4 he was not a great character, he did have an ending that associated him with Shao Khan. Here is his new MK7 bio.

After the defeat and betrayal of my leader Shinnok. I fleed to my homeworld of outworld. While I was seeking refuge, if found evidence that links me to the ruler of outworld. I began to search for more, my quest took me to the castle of outworld where I found it deserted. The few inhabitants left informed me that when Shinnok emerged he forced Shao Khan and his minons to help, yet after his defeat he went into hidding. I knew I had to find him.

I travelled into Edenia knowing that the answer I looked for would start here. I found Sindel, who upon my arrival had me arrested. I was able to escape when the Deadly Alliance merged taking Sindel and Kitana away to fight. With Edenia ungaurded I began my search. I spent many years looking the archives of Edenia, once apart of Outworld. I seemed to be travelling into a dead end when I found it. My birth records...

The Dragon King emerged in the fallout of the Deadly Alliance. While he took his thrown taken from him many centuries ago, I went into the realms looking for my Father...The one whom took his thown. I finally made it to the Choas Realm, the only realm I have yet to look. I found him, the man whom is my father, the former ruler of Outworld.

His moves would have to stay the same. Apparently as he is the son of a former Outworld ruler he unlocked a power source hidden in him that makes him stronger and faster.

He still shoots his Shurikens. Yet he shoots the green fire balls that Khan Shoots in MK: Shoalin Monks. He teleports and has a teleport kick and punch. He also bull rushes using spikes in his shoulders.

We have left the Earthrealm warriors in there victory over Onaga. We felt a force disturb the realms. We have realized that this peace we have witnessed will end soon. We have understood why we are here, but we must find this disturbance. With the help of Kenshi who like us was tormented with a haunted past. We will travel to the netherrealm where we Noob-Saibot has taken a place of power. Altough he may be a threat he is not the disturbance.

The netherrealm is the host to many tormented souls, we were sent here after our creation. Thus this must be our first stop. Once arriving we realized our search is going to end here. This disturbance, this being, this presence has followed us since we enter the netherrealm. We can feel him, our souls sense it. We know that we can not finish this presence alone. Our battle will start here but it will not finsh here.

We will not choose a side again for we will fight for us. However we will not see the realms merge or destroyed from this being. The farther in the netherrealm we travel the stronger the being is getting. We reached the center of the realm and we are met by this presence, HE has revealved himself to us. He was never destroyed, he has returned.

After the defeat of Shinnok in the fourth Mortal Kombat with the betrayal by Quan-Chi. I ran into hiding into the only place i knew, Outworld. I knew that I was spared and not followed for a reason. I chose not to help the Alliance for I was agianst it and I wanted to see the Earthrealm heros destoryed. As I wandered in Outworld I stumbled across the old fortress of Shao Khan. I entered the palace to find it completely desterted. I felt at home, like I have been here before. I travelled around the castle until I made it to the thrown room. I felt an uneasy presence here. I walked up to the chair and sat down. The room erupted in light. I say my past flash before my eyes.

I heard a voice call my name and I opened my eyes. Darkness...I was a general for Shinnok, however I do not know my past. I stood up and heard something hit the floor. I looked down I say it light up, a skull, jewels, a Crown? I picked it up and carried it with me through Outworld. I had to go to Edenia, the record of outworld are there. The merger and split of Edenia and Outworld, these records kept them connected together. I had to go, I must to reveal why this just happened to me. I made my way out of outworld for the first time in years.

In Edenia I was arrested upon entrance, I did not fight. This would get me into prision but closer to my past. But my captivity would not last long, the Emergance of the Dragon King left me ungaurded. I escaped the prision and made my way to the records. As I search the halls for anything I was guided by the skull to a small book. As I opened it the same blast of light hit me...I saw him, my father, the man who left me out to be found by Shinnok. I knew what I had to do, take my rightful place in Outworld.

I hate the Netherrealm, I despise all who are here. They all will serve me, they funny thing is when Raiden destroyed us all we went back to where we were last banished. I was put back into the netherrealm. I found the amulet that was supposedly stolen/destroyed. I felt its power immediately surge through me. I felt Onaga fall while I was in the Netherrealm. This defeat shook the realms. I felt my powers inhance by the minute. The realms are being rebuilt. While I was in the Netherrealm I saw Noob. He thinks he can take this realm. The realm I hate, the realm I can not wait to rule. I will destroy Noob and his robot. But first I will need to gain my strength back from this amulet.

I have defeated Scorpion, but he was reanimated by the gods and made there champion. He must have defeated Onaga, I can feel his pride. I was roaming the Netherrealm when I felt it. A very disturbing presences, this one being has been awaken, but by whom. The only one I can think of doing this is Shang Tsung but he would be does not have the power anymore, I have the amulet. I am attracted to this one being, I believe it will be in my best interest to help it. I will try to serve it.

Noob...I met him in the middle of the realm. I had to fight him, he was trying to destroy the being. How can he feel it, how does he know. As I was fighting him, I found that his cyborg could not help him. I destroyed Noob and forced his cyborg to serve me. Together I will find this being and just like Shinnok, just like Shang Tsung, I will betray it and take control of the realms. I will start here for now, I am the ruler of the Netherrealm. No one will destroy what I will build...Scorpion???

Kung Lao:

I'm no longer the weak shalolin warrior defeated by the deadly alliance or the former MK champion imprisioned by Shang Tsung. I'm a new Kung Lao born of the union of those tho separetes selves, now for the first time in 500 years, I'm hole.

Shujinko:

I tried to mend my mistake by killing onaga, but it was useless. The Dragon King had allready merged the kamidogu together into one all powerfull kamidogu, but the worstwas still to come. I managed to destroy the one kamidogu and doing so, I brought back from the void the One Being, now even Onaga's strength seem's futile.

Onaga:

That fool of Shujinko, he not only awakened the One Being, but he also made me loose the Ancient Amulet. With my undefeatible army vaporized and the tarkata's tribes desimatede I have no other option but to reanimate the shokan prince Goro, in order to control it's soldiers and to have a chance against the One Being.

Reiko:

As I witness the fall of Outworld I hide with my men in the wastelands, where I find out the new situation of the Dragon King. I'll ofer him my warriors with a simple request in exchange, the reanimation of Shao Kahn, my emperor, who will give me the Outworld while he conquers Earth.

Raiden


The day that I gave my life away to mortals was the day the Realms were destroyed. When my body was being reformed in Earthrealm, the one being sent part of his energy into me. I was no longer in control of my body. I could only witness myself killing Shujinko. I tried my best to restrain my self, but it was of no use. Shujinko died before my feet. Moments after his death Onaga succeeded in fusing the kamidogu into one. All the enemies of the past were coming back. Onis from the netherrealm wreaked havik upon this realm. Chaos was every where. The tarkatan hordes, and other creatures such as Shokan and Centaurs came to the one realm. Not many people survived. This realm only had half as many mortals as the original 6 realms. Now the One Being was going to enter this realm and destroy it. I knew what it's plan was now. It planned on using Onaga to his death to bring the realms together. Now Onaga is in his original body, weaker then me. It is using me as a trumpth card to destroy The 4 rulers of the realm. And I was stronger then each one.

i knew what I must do now. There was nothing I could do. The One Being controlled my body, and as long as he remains at large, I would be killing the humans I swore to protect. I would have to get rid of my body. The One Being was guiding me to the battle between Onaga and Shao Kahn. Kahn's shokan destroyed most of the Tarkatas. I knew that Onaga had lost this fight. The One Being knew that too, and ordered my body to destroy Shao Kahn. Both rulers would be dead. It wanted to take out the weakest warriors first, that way the stronger ones could fight it out to the death.

I stopped my body before I could advance any further. It took all my energy, but I managed it. I was in controll for the time being. I teleported to the heavens to confront the One Being. I would help the Elders destroy it.

What if Armageddon about...

Lets say that the komidogu is fuse and the realms are one again.

What if this armageddon war is about seeing who will replace The One Being?

The One Being could already have manifest him or herself with a few lose ends, meaning the choosen ones.

All i know this there will be ONE survior who will replace the one being.

Who will be that survivor?

as ashrah made her approach to master something strange happened. it was as if i was human again, but not fully. while i was surging with feeling i saw something like a light, i reached the light and i was there i was back at the lin-kue hq. i was running with what appeared to be my old ally and dear friend sub-zero. i looked back at what i was running from and it appeared to be two cyborgs. yes it was sektor and cyrax and i relized they were trying to transform us into cyborgs as well. we reached the portal i stayed behind and to let sub-zero go and i would fight off the heartless cyborgs. then it hit me i was a tool for evil first for lin-kue now for noob-saibot. i was furious but i was still in the flashback and i couldnt get out what was this meaning. finally i snapped out but right as i was coming out of the dream i heard a voice telling me something. it was hard to understand but it was truly the voice of my friend sub-zero.

as i came to i saw noob defeated and ashrah was the victor of the battle. a strange portal opened and ashrah flew into the hole to be free i presume but her weapon,the kriss, fell from her hands and it struck the floor. i stood up and then a wave of what appeared to be some sort of magic and i was teleported to a different area of the neatherrealm. as i crossed the land came across what appeared to be an amulet one of the socerer's, quan-chi. was this part of my destiny or was it a sign that my humanity could be restored once again. i would be able to breathe the air i wouldn't need an oil change every two hours. this was a journey that would finnaly end my searching i would finally be set free from this nightmare i live over and over again.

When I reached my wholly capacity, I felt the return of the fallen emperor... the Great Dragon King. My entire plan was in failure. So I got to wait again until I appear with the good timing.

Fatality 1: Shoots a cloud of rain( whch makes them wet), then makes thunder blow them to pieces, their head rolls to Rain, who crushes the head with his foot.
Fatality 2: Shoots a thin line of electricty out of his finger(which acts like a sharp wire), he slices it through his opponent lots of times, then punches them which makes them explode.
Fatality 3: Rain summons a huge cloud of rain a lightning, shoots it, it goes all round the enemy, for a while all you see is meat flying all over the place, then, the cloud disappears, revealing the meat hanging of the remains of the enemy.
Hara-Kiri: Rain gets those thin electric lines agen and slices himself to peices.

Since this is a "speculation" thread, I saw the trailer and Rain, Kira,Kobra,Kabal, come out from the "bad" side so they're probably going to be "bad". And I saw Raiden, Li Mei, Sonya on the "good" side so they're probably gonna be "good"

True, but we also saw Scorpion with the bad guys and didn't see Liu Kang or Blaze. So that video is not, at the moment, canon. Yet.

I am Liu Kang, my life was taken from me by Shang Tsung. My soul however was not trapt by the sorceror but lost in the fifth deminsion of the Netherrealm. Here I was able to watch Shinnok, the fallen elder god. He was trying to return to his orginial form. Shinnok was like me, weak and alone, but I had no intension of helping him. All I wanted was to get back into my body that is acting in evil. I have to stop what it is doing. The fall of the deadly alliance allowed my body to wander by itself. Shinnok found a way to leave the netherrealm, and the opening that he created I will go through myself. Once I entered the portal opening, I heard a booming laughter. Something else has made its way through. I do not now what it is but it can not be good.

I started to look for my body in Edenia, only becuase that is where my tomb is. I thought that my body might want to go where it could be comfortable. As I was looking, i started to realize that the realms have started to merge. During the time of the dragon king, I have seen the power of the komingdogu. They must have been merged together. I can not see these realms merge together, I have to stop it. To do this I will need my full body. I continued to look until I saw myself. I am disgusting, I am decaying. I went over to my body. It must have felt me because it turn to fight. If this was the only way to merge my body with my soul then I will defeat my body.

The fight was long and hard. The move and styles of fighting are the same, we shared the same attacks so this was difficult to me. But I finally won. I merged back with my body. I was Liu Kand once more and I will stop the thing that followed me. The realms have there champion back.

As the realms collide and all warriors are summoned for the last battel, the elder gods found a rift in one of the realms; Earth, it was there that 2 earths coexisted side by side one had the champion known as Liu Kang the othe Chuck Fu*kin Norris. Due to his awsome streignth and abilaty to move the earth down every time he does push ups, out of fear of his powers the elder gods coward and crawled at his feet and pledid with him to join Mortal Kombat, to save the realms. As Chuck interd the turnament every warrior fled in fear of his manormus beard which contains a hidden fist instead of a chin, due to his awsom manlyness he defeated every warrior past, present, future, and killing the one known as (enter boss guy here) with a single stare and round house kick thus becoming the grand champion of The Newly Named Mortal Chuck Norris Kombat!!!!

Story:

I am not of the Earthrealm; my ancestors are actually a nearly extinct race of warrior kings from Outworld who mastered the ability to control ice.
I am the last remnant of these people.

It has been a long journey here; I have evolved from a foolish young assassin to a wise champion of Earthrealm. I will fulfill my destiny, at the expense of the Tarkatan Hordes, Onaga and whatever else stands in my way.


Ending:

It had long been foretold that a King would rise up from the Cyromancer people to bring justice to Outworld. Onaga embarked on a genocidal effort against the people, but fell short of his goal when he was murdered by Shao Kahn; Kahn, oblivious to the prophecy, foolishly allowed some cyromancers to flee outworld to the Earthrealm.These were the ancestors of Sub-Zero.

With The Kamidogu shattered and his army of Tarkatan defeated, Onaga was no match for Sub-Zero's newly augmented powers; the relics of the cyromancers allowed Sub-Zero to smash the Dragon King, with one fell swoop of his Kori Blade.

With the threat of Onaga gone, Sub-Zero ascended to the throne of Outworld. For the first time in Milenia, the people of Outworld would have a just and wise ruler. Sub-Zero's destiny had been fulfilled.
Hail the King.

i'm new so don't flame me but i think chameleon being in the game could be good think about it he could be the fraturnal twin brother of khameleon that would explain why their names are practicley the same. also they wouldn't have any intrest in mating but he could be helping khameleon find reptile so they can bring back their race from the brink of extinction. also they could make khameleon the matriarc of their race because she is the only female and that could be why she and chameleon did not de-evolve as much as reptile did as in their less primal and more civilized in nature and i imagine khameleon looking similer to reptile in mk4 but with a feminin twist and a tail and chameleon looking similer to reptile in mk:sm.

i'm suprised no one thought of this before cause i think it's a good idea.
