I personally do believe in the movies. (More than the game, taht is...)
Because for one thing, the game endings are almost always false. It just depends with which one you finish the game. (Remember also that the movie is reality based and not some random ending of a character and that the game is... well just a game. As if the game would be true, with it's resurrection thing...)
I don't understand why Goro should be the Sub-boss in MK4, if he found peace with Kitana and her people...
And Shao Khan could come back to life, why does he HAS to live?
Back to the original subject, I don't believe that Lim Mei and Bo' Rai Cho will be in the game. Because Li Mei dies in the end of DA, and there is no alternative ending for her, so i belive that that was it with her.
About Bo'Rai Cho, I think that he will only be the teacher in Konquest. I'm pretty much sure about it, cause why on earth should they accept him in MKD (instead of other characters for example). His story is only his existance of being a teacher, I mean come on! Besides, the reason why everyone thinks that he's in, is probably the picture of him in Konquest, and that render in the Netherbelly... (That was just my opinion). I personally hope, that he is not a returning character from MKDA.
I personally believe that EITHER Liu Kang will be the deceiving one (Remember, he's a Zombie, or a ghost, whatever. It fits perfectly!), or it COULD be Sub-Zero (Cause no one would suspect him. But I can't find a reason, why he should do that. As I said, it was just an idea), but it will probably be the DK. Because in some kind of interview, a guy mentioned that the DK is very deceiving... (How obvious, but who should he deceive?).
By the way, what's wrong with your portal problem in the Netherealm? Quan Chi's portal was explainable: His amulet! It allows him to open and use any portal, even locked ones (such as the portal he used to escape, or the portal to the heavens for Shang Tsung's sould supply.).
But it is mysterious how Sareena fled...
I wouldn't believe in the Game Boy games anyways. They, pretty much, are never true... (Khan and Reiko being the same person for example.)

About Bo'Rai Cho, yes I have seen the picture with the stage fatality, but maybe it was a test, or they changed their minds. Who knows. I just don't want to believe that he's back, cause I can't find a reason why he should be back.

I really want to see rain, jade, styker, reiko, fujin and kai back. i never had the opportunity to play the games up til now, so it will be a real treat.

I think that there are gonna be a lot more of suprises in the character roster; It's 2 soon to really tell who will be in it as a FIGHTER or not (all these characters that are said to be in it were never said to be actually PLAYABLE) and the title could take part in this as well!!! 24 characters isn't much of a jump from MKDA (they had almost the same amount).

I think we should know by now that u should think everything is just as seems. MK has always thrown a curve ball when u think u discovered what MK is really about. So expect more fighters and curveballs. Also a whole new krypt and konquest mode!

Sektor hasn't been offically confirmed. Also Bo Rai Cho will most likely to be a guide/teacher during Konquest mode. They said he could be a secret character though.

Punkfish, a quick note. I don't see Tanya as classic charater, usually only characters from Mk1-3 are being referred to as such.
Tanay didn't show up till MK4 and is one of the least popular MK characters.

Well,if Tanya isn't a classic fighter what is she?
She can't be a new fighter since she has already been in a past MK game.
She can't be returning from MK:DA because she wasn't in MK:DA.
So the only choice left is Classic.I'm glad to see her back.I think she'll make a great addition to MK:Deception.

Didn't they say in Konquest mode, that Kabal was killed and that Mavado picked up his weapon. I'm pretty shure that something like that stood there, in Konquest mode. (Something with Mavado wanting to kill Kabal, but Kabal had already been killed.)

I think that pretty much of the whole list is b*llsh*t! Why should Bo'Rai Cho return? Why should Tanya return? etc. (Even if I HAVE seen the screenshots. Screenshots aren't everything, you know...).
I REALLY, REALLY, hope that the elemental gods will appear (/reappear) oneday. We've only seen Fujin, I mean, COME ON!
