It was originally rumored that Dairou was going to show up in Deception, because of his concept art in Deadly Alliance, but this Darrius, has a totally different design and story. I wouldn't count Dairou totally out of the picture yet. But no Darrius is not Dairou.

I actually think Dariou broke into two characters; Darius and Hotaru. Both seem to have their origins in the original Dariou character design.

Dude, I think that what they put in the game called MK:chess is pretty kool too, because not to get off the subject but i like what they did how you can get all the Mk fighters of all time and put them in a chess game is awsome.
the Kick ass graphics in MKD is going to the best yet i think the new SUB-ZERO& SCROPION OUT FITS are off the hook yo. Besides Sindel is back and you know its on know because sindel was a kick ass character too. one more thing about is that she cut her hair but she still looks like the vampire from a horror movie lol.

bro, they might be looking same but i think sub-zero & scropion might be on the same side now because since that scropion found out the truth about who killed his family i think they might team up because they both can kick some ass.

You could be very correct in suggesting that Dairou is technically no more because of him being broke apart into two characters.

I honestly wish Sub-Zero had stayed more towards the original pallatte swap look, and that Scorpion had deviated more.
Remember, the original design was supposed to be a Lin Kuei outfit. It only makes sense that Sub-Zero wear it, or atleast some variation of it.

In the bio for Shujinko it says that he met many warriors. Shujinko is the starting name for your character in Konquest mode. Is there a connection?

Anyways..............these are all the characters that have been thrown at us so far. We've heard their names in one place or another. i haven't added Jade because she hasn't been mentioned to be playable in Deception, and we really don't know about the girl in green yet.

I don't really know the Mortal Kombat mythos as well as some, but is reptile the Dragon King? I heard a rumor that the Dragon King is a Boss, and reptile is an entirely different person in the game. I have failed to see his name mentioned, however. Is reptile even going to be in Deception? and most importantly, if so, is he going to suck as much raw sewer waste as he did in Deadly Alliance?
