I think that Katania and Shao Kahn should be in to defend outworld from the Dragon King
Also Blaze ( with Fatalitys ) because he has a good story line and he was a good fighter

Yes, of the two secret bots from DA, Blaze is the only one with some kind of potential. Properly developed he could go far.
I can't wait to see a proper full body shot of Ermac. I've always found it nifty that they put him in as a kind of joke born out of an error message, and look how far he's come today. I think it just proves that with some work, any character can be made into something cool. I hope one day to see the return of Meat, but I have a weakness for zombie types, hehe

I wish they could bring all of the rumored characters in. Honestly, I'd love if they brought back 10 deadly alliance characters in addition to the classics.

I bet you are having trouble updating this at the moment. With the German INFO not being totally true and this new info and video from another German Magazine. The new info from the Game Informer Magazine.

There's no point in putting Bo Rai Cho on any list that doesn't also include "24". As they both have about the same likelyhood of being in the game.

Well, actually I was rather talking of (as I said)BOSSES and not SUB-bosses. OK, in MK1 there was no using Shang Tsung, but in MK2 you could (if I'm not mistaken, right?) and you could use Shao Khan... in Trilogy. I know it's not really MK3 but the point is, that you were able to use him.
Why should the DK be unselecatable? How do you know? Starting from Trilogy, every boss has been selectable. And even if, why can't he be an unlocked character or at least a secret player??
I don't think that the list is true. For example Lui Kang, according to the german magasine (PS: I own it), Lui Knag's Ghost is to return but as everyone has probably allready heard, those were informations from an earlier production state.
How about Smoke? Will he be in, will he not? I think that the picture shure looks more than Smoke, than Noob Saibot, so the list is surely incomplete if you count p all the characters. As for Bo' Rai Cho, I justt think that they saw him on that Konquest picture and then they thought he was in the game...
Who is going to be the sub-boss, I ask? Only time will tell...

Dragon King will probably not be selectable.
Only way I think he would be selectable is if he is of normal size like Shinnok,Quan Chi and Shang were which is why they were selectable. If he is like Kahn then he will not be selectable in this one probably.

I'l ask again: WHY should Bo' Rai Cho return?? It's probably just a mistake, cause the German Magasine saw a picture of him in Konquest (maybe).
And what's about Striker? Didn't Midway say that Striker is to return, aswell as Smoke (like definately or something)?
I don't think that it's about the size (regarding the DK). I mean, Drahmin was pretty big for a selectable character, don't you think so? And Goro was a selectable (hidden actually) character in MK4, so why shouldn't the DK be selectable??
Since Trilogy, every boss has been selectable, why should they change that?
(And how do you know that he's big? He might as well be sort of like Drahmin (regarding the size, not the looks *lol*))

Personally, I greatly dislike the notion of playable boss characters. For me, it's because I get less of a sense of accomplishment when I complete the game while the bosses have always been available to me.

Drahmin wasn't very big in my opinion he was about the same size as everyone else. As to why he's not in this game is beyond me because I thought he was the shit.
Goro sucked monkey eggs in MK4. The reason he could be played as is because people liked the idea of being Goro... I mean.. come on! It's Goro! No one knows what this Dragon King guy even looks like. I am AGAINST the idea of Dragon King being a playable character, and hopefully so are the game designers. But hey, I'll probably be totally wrong. I friggin' hate Liu Kang and I am totally against them bringing him back and the game designers for whatever reason decided that we needed him back.

Mavado comes from the Spanish word "Malvado" which means bad man. In fact, Malvado was originally going to be his name. Bo' Rai Cho's name comes from the Spanish word "Borracho" which means drunkard.

I think that Hotaru and Dairou are the same person. They maybe haved changed his name. We havn't seen Liu Kangs Spirit/zombie before so i think he belongs in the list of new characters.

OK Dairou was in the deadly alliance cheats where they had the extra's, he was a planned character they said, so him and hotaru r completely different, and maybe liu kangs spirit is in the 8 new, there is still one more room :-p or maybe he is one of the returning da's, or maybe even classic

You're not the only one. Him and Jax need to return, they can't keep killing off classic characters(Jax is a classic).

Guys guys guys... Chill out. If your character died, they're going to be in the next one. I even heard they were going use Liu Kang's spirit, kinda stupid eh? Well anyhow what I'm sayin' is don't freak, b/c mostly all characters are going to be in it and if yours isn't, deal and find a new one. As a second note: German's list was the most accurate, at least according to my research.

Yes you could use Shang Tsung as a playable character in MK2, but he wasnt the boss, that was shao Khan and he wasnt playable.
I think the only boss character that was playable on the first game he appeared in was shinnok.
I really hope the dragon king would be playable, after using a kode or unlocking him of course.

Oh! I forgot, that Shao Khan was the master in MK2...

As for myself, I do hope that the sub-boss and the DK will remain unselectable characters...

I did like Frost a lot, but nevertheless, the chances look bad. As for Nitara and Cyrax, I liked them aswell, but you can say the same thing about them: Their chances are looking pretty bad.
Wasn't Drahmin a bigger character, than the usual size of an average player?? Even if not, then it seemed so because his moves are slower and stronger (no wonder, he's an oni).
I aswell hope that Lui Kang should not return. I dislike him among all of the MK character (including Baraka though, don't like the guy either).
