I LOVE The idea of using REAL people for endings.
As for gameplay, etc. I LOVE how characters look.

I want the next Mortal Kombat's to feature cel-shading. I'm thinking Wind Waker, or Powerpuff Girls style. We all know it is that of the future.

Again with Urban is possessed. 'He' wants 3D actors back, not 'we' want 3D actors back!
And also using movie clips as endings would be a bad idea in my opinion. How would the costumes get recreated in every detail? They would need to use matial artists or models to portray the characters builds, not proper actors, ala Hollywood. They would start to look like 10 minute clips from Power Rangers or something. And how would you get the great look of a character like Mileena? In computer generated imagery you can see her mouth through her veil and her costume defies gravity with its fit...you would not be able to recreate this effectively with live actors.
And the debate about realism and entertainment is tricky...some games get banned for being too close to the line. I want to continue playing MK, so i dont think it should ever cross the line!

Also, when you typed:
I loved ripping people apart with Sonya's legs. Like Boon said MK was pushed beyond reality.
You are talking about Sonya's MK3 fatality. Mortal Kombat 3 used real-life actors that were digitized and used as realistic MK characters.

That was from MK4 (which used real face textures on the 3D models)

What drew me to Mortal Kombat 1 - Mortal Kombat Trilogy were not cartoonish in the character sense. However, MK4 through MK:D are. But, that's fine, because the MK team needed time to familiarize themselves with the 3D fighting world. I think it's time they look into using real-life actors and try to capture them in 3D real-time!

can you please explain how exactly you expect them to do this real-life actor in 3D in real-time thing, without using the current method of motion capture and texturing!? And don't use the "back in '92 for MK1 they done it" line.
