The videos alright but the Kombat Rage story element is a lame.

Anyway, the fact that Quan Chi seems to play what seems to be a nice size role in the story, and not be playable is heartbreaking to me. Hear that MK team....breaking my heart....DLC please.

Does anybody know if we can turn rage mode off? It reminds me of that aggressor meter in mkt. I turned it off when I bought the game and never turned it back on.

The rage, the rage, ugh.Corny movie, hopefully taken in context of the whole story mode it won't be quite so cringe inducing. The game does look fun though.

Watching the game though I wonder again, why are characters like Captain Marvel (essentially a Superman clone), and Liu Kang in the game?

I like that QuanChi appears to have a significant presence in story mode, so it makes me wonder why he isn't selectable instead of Liu Kang, Jax, or Lex Luthor.

I highly doubt that given that the rage meter is your breaker meter as well.

In reply to Vash 15 Quan Chi is the most powerful sorcerer in the mk universe and he's an independent agent, whereas Shang Tsung is Shao Kahn's slave.

He has his hand in a lot of the behind the scene machinations with ties to Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Noob Saibot, Shinnok, Sareena, and the Red dragon.

He is arguably the most important villain in the mk universe second only to Shao Kahn. It makes sense for him to be involved in the plot of the game in a major way.

It is puzzling and frustrating for Quan Chi fans like myself that he is not playable, however it is too early for any us to say how much he affects the plot, even though he has appeared in several of the released story cutscenes released so far. He may not even be in the game other than the scenes we've seen so far.
