The magazine gives pictures and bios on Mileena, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Baraka, Raiden, Shunjiko and most of all, the new character or thought to be Dariou, who seems to be Darrius. If you would like to check out the link, just pm me and I will give you the link.

Leader of the resistance in the realm of order, darrius lives a life in the shadows, his ambition is to overthrow the oppressive regime that strangles freedom. to some he is a hero... but to others he is nothing more than a terrorist.

Foes: Dragon king, scorpion
Long before liu kang had won the mortal kombat tournament in earthrealm, shujinko had begun his quest to retrieve the kamidogu for the elder gods. his journey took him to many realms where he met many experience warriors.

Place of Origin: Earthrealm
Alignment: Neutral
Favorite Fighting style: Hapkido
Friends: none
Foes: Quan Chi, Drahmin, Moloch, Sub-zero
In his haste to confront his nemesis, Quan Chi, he was ambushed by two Oni and cast into a powerful soulnado. He would have been torn apart by the souls trapped there had he not escaped into the Void. In this place, he first set eyes on the fabled Elder Gods.

As a last resort against the dragon Kings relentless advance, raiden sacrificed himself by releasing his godlike essence and creating an intense ethereal blast in an effort to wipe out the enemy completely. The dragon king was unaffected, however, and continues to threaten the realms.

I hope he brought the rest of the Blowfish with him...

Sorry, too much I Love the 90s.

Darrius is a much cooler name than Dairou, too many "ou" sounds in fighting games.

I could be mistaken, but I thought only direct links to a scaned image was not allowed. I only gave a link to a forum, which I did not find to be against the rules.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Awesome info. New character anyone Havik,Damashi,Notaru? More than likely. Unless Notaru is missplelled for Hataru but I hope not. This is turning out to be a fantastic lineup of characters.

Hey isnt Darrius morpheus from the matrix lol it looks exaclty like him lol. Thats sad why cant Boon come up with original characters.And whats with that other new fighter the one with the beard whats up with the fat fighters its bad enough bo rai cho is back.

So much for the Shang Tsung occupying Shujinko's spot on the select screen theory. Dammit.

And I don't see how judging by that one pic, how Darrius can be a Jax ripoff. Okay, they're buff, black, and sometimes wear sunglasses. So does that make Jax a ripoff of every buff black guy that has ever worn sunglasses?

First of all, Edit out the link.

Second, there is nothing in that article that says Sub and Scorp are foes. Actually, the bio implies Scorp is good now.

Actually check the bios again. Scorpion and Sub-Zero are both listed on each other's bios as foes. Also, it wouldn't hurt to be a bit nicer you know when replying instead of so blunt.

Although I think the enemy list is more of a history referrence. I'm not certain of anything yet, but my original theory was that Scorpion became a heaven's warrior. That hasn't been confirmed or anything, but that fact that he has confronted the elder gods might indicate such.

It's kool. You probably are right, since Sub-Zero is confirmed to be good and Scorpion probably isn't evil, considering he confronted the Elder Gods. Good theory on him btw, Scorpion probably suggested since he is just walking around dead, thet he might as well do some good, plus it would fresh his story up alot.

I didn't get to see the link, maybe someone can IM me with it? But I do agree that most of the people listed in a character's bio are only hystorical. However, although Scorpion has given up chasing after Sub-Zero, that doesn't make them allies. So maybe that's why they're listed under each other' list as foes.

/me saw the scans/pics.

Both of these new 'confirmed' characters look a lot more interesting than Hsu-Hao, Blaze, Mokap, and the very GHEY MK:DA Reptile.

I'm happy to see another brotha join the MK roster.

In a way, I'm kinda hoping the bio referrences are presently correct. Mostly because it would mean that Smoke is still Subzero's ally. I have to admit, when I first saw Smoke, I feared he would be evil. I mean, he looks malignant as hell. I fear he might have changed alignments.

I like Shujinko's look. In many ways, I think it's how Bo Rai Cho should've looked. He has an old master of martial arts look to him, whereas BRC just looks fat, smelly, and lame. Definitely digging his look, even if it isn't all that original.

Darrius, hmm, not sure what to think about him yet. It's nice to see a new face though. Is it just me, or is one of his shoulders as big as his whole waist?? Weird. Cool outfit, and probably one of the best storylines for an MK character I've seen in a LONG time. "To some he's a hero, to others he's nothing more than a terrorist." Interesting choice of words given what's been going on the last year or so. Still, definitely a unique storyline, and a solid one at that. Plus, he's from Order Realm, and I was wondering if they were going to have any characters from that place when I first heard about it. I'm looking forward to seeing what moves this guy's got. My first impression? Should be a good addition to the game.

Rayden: What the hell? He looks exactly the same! Now, maybe he does turn himself into a roman candle or a holy hand grenade or whatever, but if he's going to be a playable character, he should have an updated look. Not cool at all.
