hello all. my brothers fiance is very good friends with someone who works over at midway. i consider this a rumor but she says that she heard them talkin about this.

according to the mk team, mk:d used mk:da as its foundation. basically keeping the same game code and expanding and changing some of it. well the character models remained intact (according to her). it is rumored that if you unlocked all of the secret charecters in mk:da then u might be able to use them in mk:d as well. meaning that u can use blaze, mokap, or that hso dude. what you will have to do is somehow import them from your mk:da profile to this new mk:d game which she said would be accomplished by entering a button sequence which would enable u to open up profiles from mk:da and import them. i then asked if kitana could be unlocked that way and she said she didnt have the real answer to that but her guess was that kitana will be unlocked somehow either via konquest mode or the krypt. this would be interesting to see if boon and his team forsaw the opportunity for this while they realesed mk:da knowing that they would realese another fighter soon after that would ultilize the same chars. because if you notice, most of the core of the characters retained there mk:da character molds (if they were in the game. so this could be the final secret that we have been wating for for all this time. please feel free to ask any questions and i will be glad to ask her and answer my self. leave any thoughs as well. peace fellow mkers.
