New species and Races?

Do you think ed and them should introduce new species into a mk game eventually? I think it would be awesome. Right now we have:

Vampires
Nomads
3 cyborgs
Oni's

We also at one point, had reptiles, half human half dragons (shokans), Motaro's race, Half human half tiger (kintaro), and many others.

Do you think MK should make new kind of species, like half human half something? And if so, what would you want it to be?

I would love to see a half human half saberwolf race. It would be a clan of wolfs.

I would also like to see some draculas, as well as a race of zombies. It would be sweet to me, i can picture the zombie races looking like nemises from resident evil.

Another idea would be a race of cavemen, or gorillas. A half human half gorilla would be awesome, as long as they make it look right.

A clan of blood thirsty cannibals would ownx0rz to.

Anyways people what do you think? Let me hear some of your ideas. It could be anything. It could be half human half something, or even something by itself. Share your ideas.

I would like to see a mixed breed of Humans and Dragons. The Dragon King could take some humans from Earthrealm and warp them into a new breed called Timats.

Nice. I would also like to see a whole new region of demons that look totally different and evil.

I would also like to see a warrior (or clan) of grim reapers.

I like this idea! Maybe Lu Kang is one of these since he has the Dragon Animality/Fatality! I'd like to see some new creatures of their own creation in there rather than relying on mythological creatures.

Me to. Like baraka, he was something of a own creation. I want to also see more of that, cause right now i cant think of any more creatures lol.

An egyptian race would be nice to. I would like to see a race of ancient egyptians, and they could have rivalry with a clan of undead mummies.

Yeah. Unless he means it in a different way. Maybe they could be half humans half dragons, but different, as in the skin would be dragon skin, and the face would look more developed like a dragon, but still having human personalities.

Id like to see a race of demons right out of the pits of hell. Kinda of like the Oni, but much much much more evil and cruel.

Or like i said in another thread, we could find out Nightwolf is related to a race of werewolves. Y not? We got vampires now. WWs would be cool also.

I totally agree. I want to see some more powerful, evil, and blood thirsty demons from the 5th plane of the neatherealm.

And the idea of nightwolf being a part of the wolf family is awesome. That right there can introduce the new clan of werewolfs.

I would love to see a female mermaid warrior. She would be evil, or perhaps good, doesnt matter. I can picture how she would look like, and its awesome. I wouldnt mind seeing a mermaid in MK.

MK already has alot of mythological races. Plus there is the fact of the infinite # of realms. I think the possibility of new races is endless.

I was thinking the same. Perhaps she could float. Damn, i wish i was good at drawing, or else i would draw her the way i imagine her. She looks evil and awesome in my mind.

LOL. So, "The Little Mermaid" characters will fight to death in MKD? Ursula or ARiel? Which will be the bad-ass new race?

I like the idea of a monstrous female mermaid, she could like, I dont know, sing and control U, or slap you with her tail! :/ I also heard a cool idea on a human with the body of a snake, like a basilisk.

lol, Queve, you just gave me another idea with the whole "snake" thing. I would also like to see a women with a bunch of snakes for hair, kind of like madusa. She would be evil, and she could kind of rule with the dragon king, kind of like how sindel ruled with kahn.

As for the mermaid, i'm still thinking of what her attacks would be. I'm thinking they would somehow involve the depths of an ocean, or a deep sea. Maybe she could spit ink at your face, or a kind of jelly fish sting.
