Nitara In MK:Deception?

I think that Nitara would be an exelent character to return in MK:Deception. In MK:DA, Nitara relied on deception as she tricked Reptile into serving her. Nitara then left Reptile to die when she tricked Cyrax into working for her also.

According to Nitara's ending in MK:DA she returned Cyrax to Earthrealm and she used the magical orb he retrieved to return to her native land. Nitara learned of Reptile's species and if the Dragon King really possesed Reptile's body then Nitara might know a weakness for him.

If Nitara returned to her native land then there is a possibility to see more vampires in MK:Deception, Nitara is a character that has alot of potential for the story of MK:Deception and I feel that she would fit in perfectly in the whole theme of the new Mortal Kombat game.

Do any of you feel the same way I do? If not, who do you think would play an important role in MK:Deception who was not mentioned in the character roster so far?

Nitara was a pretty cool character. This time around though I would like to see an even more powerful male vampire. Hopefully this time if we do see a vampire in Deception he/she has a more detailed story. Too many unanswered questions about Nitara's race.

She'll be in deception but she just wasn't finish for e3,do you think midway will just made a powerful character and throw her away for the other game,these are not 2d character guys.

I agree - not only was Nitara's story good (and she would fit well into MK:Deception) but she was a very powerful character in MKDA as well. I would love to have her back. Although I was kinda hoping to see Tanya use her Leopard style...

Nitara is a great character! She had an amazing story, a great look and was a powerful and excellent fighter!

She has plenty of potential and there is so much that is unknown about her and her race. She should definitely be in MKD as a playable character and apart of the story!

No. I never liked Nitara. I mean, her story is nice, but I don't like her look and I think there are many new MK:DA characters so much better than her, such as Mavado (yeah, I know almost everyone will disagree) and Li Mei, even though this one is already confirmed. If they bring back Nitara, they could at least give her better special moves and fatality (her fatility was the same of Reptile's in MK4).

Nitara is an excellent character and her story is pretty good... Considering her storyline tied so many others together.

Plus her alternate costume was pretty damn hot. grin

I think Mavado and Hsu Hao was the best new characters for da.Mavado,Nitara and reptile will return for deception,so why can people stop making silly threads about they should return,people are acting like midway said they are not returning.It was just E3 every character wasn't finish so it doesn't mean they aren't returning,or I believe you guys just feel like creating a bunch of threads for no reason or you want higher rank or something.

Like Mavado, Nitara needs to sit out of the base roster for finetuning of their styles. Their movements were very poor.

Actually, it does mean they aren't returning. Storywise, anyway. The 24 characters have basically been named, but Boon said their would be extra fighters that weren't part of the main roster and wouldn't have a story, but they would be playable.

MK characters without endings/fatalities/own moves just piss everyone off; if they can't take the time to add them then why have them at all(especially if they don't have any new moves/fatalities)?

I think that Nitara should be in MKD, her story could go far and if she is in Deception like some people said... she will fit perfectly in the story of deception. smile

I agree 100% with you. Mavado was just plain boring to use. His lack of special moves made him totally bland. Nitara has potential, but ALOT of work needs to be put in for her to be a worthy character in Deception.

I'd love tos ee Nitara back.

Of all the characters I believe she has the most potential to be deceptive, well maybe only behind Shang Tsung.

But really storylines don't concern me. She was just such an incredibly cool and fresh feeling characterm in the MK Universe. Bar none the best newcommer in MKDA.

I believe Nitara will not make the cut for this game. There were actually 2 models for vampires, a new female and a male. My guess is that we will have a male vampire in this game, and Nitara will play an important role in his story and in the game’s story in Mk7.

Nitara is IMO the best new character MK has ever introduced. She has way too much potential, and even though she will fail (I think) to appear in deception, she will return totally revamp and better then ever in Mk7.

I certainly believe that we should we have a Vampire in there. It would be great if it was Nitara. But I think it will be a new male Vampire. And you're right: the Vampire story is very good.

Actually, I'd rather like it if the new Vampire was a little like my character Daemos. I'll post Daemos in the next character tournament.

I'd love to see Nitara back, she was one of MKDA's best new characters. Raiden's ending kinda suggests she ain't done with MK yet (looks like she might be connected to the Dragon King). I think she'll either be hidden in MKD, or get a big comeback next game, more than enough of us like her so I think we'll definetely be seeing more of the sexy vampire.

Nitara!...ohhh man !talk about a powerfull chactacter!...did anyone here able to pull off her 83% combo in MKDA?,I could do it but not on a consisitant basis...

i didn't like Nitara because I don't believe that she fit really well in the MK universe.

I didn,t like her special moves either, a blood spit was pretty ridiculous if you ask me, I know that there is people who love her, but I'm simply not one of them.

Nitara’s special moves were simple and really unoriginal. That was the only downfall she had. Being a vampire opens many doors full of potential, I come to think that Nitara should sit out this game, and make one amazing return!

I think Tgrant did a thread for Vampire special moves that was really good. I think Nitara’s powers should evolve into a more gothic way, more vampire then human. The unicorn kick (amazing) and the blood spit did not fit her very well.

But overall, Nitara was amazing, and she is a must.
