Please don't tell me this is a hint that these fuckers are bringing back Animalties. I'm not going to buy the game if that's the case. I really won't. Boon promised a serious game. That kind of shit ain't serious.

I'm with everyone that thinks animalities are a ridiculously stupid idea. Please leave them out of MK forever.

RAGE= Primal Rage anyone????? If it will be a VS game, than Primal Rage is the answer.

Maybe rage is some kind of "rage" meter that allows you to kill your opponent instantly. Maybe it has nothing to do with animals. I bet that RAGE is what the hint is but it probably deals with some kind of new play mechanic.

Primal Rage played like a shitty Street Fighter game but with Dinosaurs and Giant Gorilla's as the characters. Trust me its not a crossover, unless Zordon grants Scorpion and Subzero the power of the fucking Power Rangers to Mighty Morph into their Giant animal Zords to do battle with the giant dinosaurs of Primal Rage ........... wait a minute, animals ... gorilla, elephant, anteater .... NO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BOON DONT REALLY DO IT, IT WAS JUST A JOKE MAN !!!!!!

Bringing back animalities could be cool as along as they dont butcher the concept like they did in MK3/UMK3. The fluorescent animal outlines were awful. Liu's MK2/MK4 Dragon fatalities were great, as was Scorpion's in MK4. If animalities are implemented in MK8, they really need to take a realistic approach to it, even if some creatures are fantasy based.

I think they have a rage meter in Tekken 6.

A meter for special attacks will be cool, some people still fighting using almost the time only special moves, and we need a 50/50 between fighting strikes and special moves (incluiding special combos).

The RAGE meter concept could be a cool idea, perhaps it will be implemented to the extent that you must fill your RAGE meter by the end of the two rounds in order to perform your fatality?

These are not exactly the mainstream characters and therefore would be unusual to see them return but I like all 4 of them and I'd be happy if they were in the game.

ANIMALITIES

I don't see this as being relative, I think a lot of people would have thought this hence Boon placing animals to spell the word RAGE, but with the relation to GREA i think it had to be an anagram for RAGE.

TITLE

Could it be the title for the game? MK: RAGE??? Hmmm, probably not but not impossible.


On another note...

AFRICA

If in fact these animals are all African...that could play a part in the story. Maybe the MK Tournament is in Africa on earth realm? Possible. But best bet is probably a RAGE Meter imo.

It's very unlikely it has anything to do with animalities or the characters they are associated with. For starters that's an aardvark not an anteater, and that's a gorilla not a monkey (yes there's a SIGNIFICANT difference). The answer is most likely in the "RAGE". My guess is that it's probably the subtitle, or some form of it.

If Animalities DO make some sort of a comeback for whatever reason, let's not kill it, shall we? And instead of having almost each animal, depending on if they fly or if they're wallkers, let's not see the same thing over and over again.

Examples:

Lion/Corgar/Polar Bear etc. - All did the same thing, just walked up to the opponent and just... focused on eating down there... (From my perspective it looked like they were eating down there)

Flying animals either just knocked the opponent off screen or decapitated them in a really crappy, horribly way.

Let's not do that again if they bring back animalities. I'm sure everyone would have liked them if they weren't somehow really lame and boring to watch.

haha i used to play Primal Rage and MK 3 (i think it was that one) on my game gear

thanks, yea when i saw the names of the animals written out it was the first thing i noticed, i did a video project for class a few years ago, and used some text and lined each word in a vertical column, and noticed that using the first letter of each word spelled Rage and then what i did is i highlighted just those letters and incorporated it into the project, its funny that in both cases i accidently stumbled across the word rage, weird...


btw who ever had the rage meter idea thats not really a bad idea, it think that could be cool, if done properly
