Noob's awesome, I'd love to have him come back as the original subzero. If the armageddon ending is true, I wonder how he'd turn out.

I do like Noob Saibot, mainly because of how much he improved with his return in MKD. Although I do like him, I'm slightly reluctant to want him to return after Armageddon. I think he has good potential, but at the same time, he could easily fall into certain story "traps", especially with a continued rivalry between him and Sub-Zero. I would like to see a rivalry between Noob Saibot and Scorpion but definitely not anything revenge-based. One obstacle I could see Noob Saibot having is Shinnok, who is still alive and stuck in the Netherrealm.

well there is no doubt in my mind that in some way Noob Saibot will be in the next MK .A s said in the ending in Armageddon hes neither Sub-Zero or Noob Saibot anymore.
So what ever he is now will (and I may be being a bit bold when I say this)
Definatly be int he next MK as one of the new characters.

I agree, man! I like Noob Saibot alot and if he does return, like any other returning character, I hope their stories excel. I guess we just have to wait and see what happens.

Precisely. I've been recently working up a fanfic. Shinny becomes one of Noob's foes and gets a faceful of scythe (Yes. He gets a scythe)

I wouldn't mind seeing Noob Saibot continue on in future games, since his storlyine has just picked up. I just hope to God they don't do anything from his ending with him fusing with his old self and becoming half Sub-Zero or somesuch bullshit. I'd rather he not come back at all than see that nonsense.

Honestly though, if Noob continues, I'm not all that interested in his rivalry with Sub-Zero. Don't care much for another sibling rivalry, I'd rather see Sub-Zero move on to more "main event" storylines (if Subz is to have a secondary feud, I'd prefer it be with Sektor), and I'm more interested in Noob feuding with Sareena and/or Scorpion (if they were to give Scorpion back his brain, that is).
EDIT:But, since they will more than likely go full speed ahead with the feud if Noob returns, I just hope they find a way of keeping it interesting.

once it was revealed that noob saibot was the original sub zero i think the entire mk fanbase in unison had the idea of a noob/sub hybrid. then everyone thought about it, and it didn't seem so awesome. if Noob Saibot is to return (which i'm in the "i hope he does" category) the most likely route is a subzero feud with his ultimate sight on ruling the neatherealm. this opens up a possible feud with shinnok/quan chi with chi being an interesting option considering it was him who sent him on the quest that would lead to his demise.

and who knows? what if in this time between armageddon and mk 8 that he has taken over the neatherealm, this could open a possibility of him being the new threat. and what of scorpion? could scorpion feel compelled to undo the evil threat he's made, or could scorpion have fallen prey to Saibot and become one of his unwilling minions (Cyber Hellspawn anyone?). the last of my ideas is the most campy i admit, but you see where i'm going with this. Noob Saibot (if handled correctly) has nearly limitless possibility.

To Onaga: I hope that his Armageddon ending won't happen as that would crap all over his character.

To tgrant: Yep. We'll most likely see a continued rivalry between the two brothers if they both return. However, I'm more interested in the Scorpion/Noob Saibot rivalry IF AND ONLY IF it's done right.

To BloodSplatter: I hope you don't mean a regular scythe, because that's inefficient as a weapon. I suggest going for a Kamayari, Kusarigama, or maybe even a variation on the "Chicken Sickle".

To XiahouDun84: Agreed; This is what I was talking about earlier with the "traps". His story can easily fall into the cliché of Sub-Zero trying to rescue his brother and stuff like that.

To King_Raiden: Yeah, Sareena is a must have, imo.

To Detox: If Noob Saibot were to be ruling the Netherrealm in MK8, they would have to explain how he was able to overthrow Shinnok. I'd definitely like Scorpion to try and undo the evil he helped create.

Noob should just stay Neutral, Like Scorpion has. I can't see Noob being anything but the Sexy Black Hearted Ninja he is.

Noob has a strong chance of returning IMO. He's got tons of storyline potential. After Armageddon, I'm not sure which direction he will go though. He could continue to become Evil and possibly form Alliances with other characters...(Frost Maybe ). He could also turn good, which might not be as much fun. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

p.s. He's Boon's name spelled backwards. That alone could be a reason for him to return

hes one of the best characteres in the series and i become for fond of him every time i see him. hes got that badass attitude as wuan chi does, but hes mysterious about it. hes the man. not my favourate but hes up there in my book.

i see good story ahead for him.

Sub-Zero_7th i agree with you on all fronts. the overthrow of shinnok could be a killer intro video(much like Deadly Alliance's intro brought us up to speed beatifully). The scorpion thing has a huge chance at being an awesome storyline as long as it's not scorpion realizing that it's the original sub zero and Hulk's up and goes into the MY FAMILY AND CLAN>K>M " SCORPION KILL.....ha...anyway, they're going to have to approach it differently than a revenge angle to be successful. I hope if they do go the scorpion/noob saibot path that they realize that. hell it could be scorpion's last shot at a decent storyline.

I think that Scorpion should learn about Noob Saibot's former identity, because it's needed to help Scorpion on his path to taking responsibility for his actions. You are likely right in saying that this rivalry could be a last shot at redemption in his story quality.

Hmm, as far as the mask it's tough...that's definitely Noob's best looking mask to date while Scorpion has tons of sick looking masks thru out the years.

I wouldn't mind seeing Noob in MK but I would honestly only want to see him if his ending is canon and he's this new combination of C. Sub and Noob. hehe but I wouldn't mind seeing him again

first of all, no way scorpion is forming an alliance with anybody period. he was forced to comply to the elder gods, he has no fear of anybody shown by his actions and courage throughout the games. taking on 2 oni, chasing quan chi, killing subzero.

he has no reason to reside in anybodys partnership. and by some impossable shot even if he was going to, it sure as hell would not be noob.

noob was killed by scorpion while he was lin kuei. why team with him? point? objective? your making a sugestion u believe to be true with absolutely no plot support or possability. it doesnt make sense, your just saying u want 2 of ur fav chars to form an alliance. let go of it.
