Not very secret when they're showing screen caps of him...but I'd like to think that he would be a secret character, or at least one of the unlockables who isn't considered one of the '10 returning classic characters', this way we have room for some other characters to return.

One of the unlockables, maybe. But most definitely not a secret character. Not only would that be predictable, but a total waste as we've already seen what he looks like and know of his presence in the game.

Totally up in the air in my oppion. In MK4 they were almost going to make him playable, but drop him for the final revisions. In MK:DA, there were voices that hinted at his return (depending on who you talk to, and what you believe about the voices), and now he's confirmed... I really don't think they would show us the hidden charater...when the game is just gaining hype... My guess is on playable, maybe locked at the start of the game.

I think you are going to have to unlock Noob Saibot in Konquest mode.

I remember before "Deadly Alliance" came out we seen renderings of Jax and Raiden and they were characters that had to be unlocked before you could play as them.

So Noob Saibot probably might not be playable from the start but after you get into the feeling of the game and start to uncover secrets you may cross paths with him and fight him so that if you win he becomes playable in all modes of "Kombat".

Most likely you will have to unlock him.

I have to agree with Shang on this one. Its too late for Noob to be a secret character now since they have already shown screen shots of him. By the way, is it just me or is noob sporting some black goggles?

I wish things were like the old days with these games though. At the rate we are going, there won't be left for surprise.

Yeah i dont see wht they would release an image of Noob now if they made him a secret chracter. I dont even think they'll make him unlockable. I dont like him anyway so he'd be last I unlocked. I think all the characters confirmed so far will be playable.

Chances are Noob Saibot will have to be unlocked. When has he ever been available right away (other than the Genesis/SNES versions of UMK3 and MKT)?
