Same name + same moves = essentially the same character.

Now that you say it...SUB-Zero is a TOTAL RIP OFF of SUB-Zero and NOTHING ORIGINAL, SAME NAME, MOVES, EVEN FATALITY!!!!! Even Related to SCORPION!!!

Sub-Zero sucks!!!!.............LOL. I was just kidding, but its funny how people complain about rip-offs and we have this. (Dont get me wrong, but I like the first Sub better then the actual one).

BTW, yes there has been a character with the same name and powers and even story, but its not the same character...lol, everytime I say this I keep thinking how people never COMPLAIN anything about this 2 being SO alike in everything.

Overall, I think that no character will ever be killed off unless they are hated by like 95% of the fans considering the ressurection thing is pretty much done. (only Scorpion is immune)

I agree.
In that regard, I guess the only charcaters in the crosshairs are Jax, Stryker, and Tanya. Maybe Hsu Hao and Li Mei?

I COMPLETELY agree with the tired story. However, Sonya is without a doubt an AWESOME character. They just need to change her story. It seems by her ending in DA that she might be in it to fight Mavado and the Dragon King. Maybe by involving wher in the Dragon King's story somehow they can make her more interesting. Also, from what I can tell, Deception is definitely more evil than DA the "good" (as in "good" guys)characters might not be so common in Deception and they seem to be adding a lot of "dark" characters. This might mean goodbye (at least for now) to some of the characters that aren't evil like Sonya. This SUCKS HARD and will be a consideration in whether or not I even buy the game, and Midway would be smart to include her considering her popularity (Sonya won in the "immune" and "boot" post). Though, if Sonya has to go, Kitana should too. She used to be cool, but she sucked really bad in DA. Also, if Reptile's back, he better be in ninja form.
