Sektor's really the only cyborg that I like for now. Cyrax just got lame, and Smoke is still cool, but he needs to stop being Noob's bitch. His little Tekunin thing is pretty cool, but it seems a little odd forming a ninja clan in this modern century, don't you think? A war with the Lin Keui would be kick ass, and I hope that's where his story is headed.

His costume needs to be more futuristic though. More sleek, deadly, and sleathy. This Sektor costume done here is definitely what I wanna see. As for his alternate, his MK:T/G costume will do just fine.

Move wise, he needs something stealthy, yet destructive. Specials moves need to be more variated. Missiles should be able to be guided. A machine gun or flamethower should be attached to his back. I'm kinda trying to picture him more Predator-like. Maybe hand claws or foot claws would be cool. Maybe Emi Piercers (check link):

Fatality-wise, his crush thing would be okay, but we need more creativity. I'm not too sure what, but those at Midway do get paid for doing that.

If a level was devoted to Sektor, I would want a Tekunin center of operations, or a cyborg producing facility, with lots of machinery and destructable objects.

Good ideas, although not sure if he was ever stealthy though since he's a cyborg unless he has some kind of cloaking device like say Predator or Batman Beyonds suit then it just wouldn't work IMO.

He's too big and beefed up to be a slick, stealthy ninja anymore.

Cyrax's story isn't lame, just totally departed from the others more so which isn't a bad thing.I like the fact that he's good now to be honest.

I really liked the look sektor had in the concept art of Sektor And Smoke in the MK:D unlockable concept.. I liked the manga look it is a nice mix of Humanoid features and Technology. I hope for his weapons his arms change into buzzsaws cause that would be pretty cool.

Sektor, who was cooler then him in mk 3? He was the first of the cybernetic robots and had the coolest attacks heat seeking missiles teleport punch all the good stuff.

Lets get started on his fatality it should be like he should shoot missels at each limb of his opponent then he should finnally shoot a heat seacking misseel at his oppenents headd blowing him 2 peices.

As for moves he should deffonitly have his heat seaking missels and he should have his flame thrower as a move not a fatality. With this new air kombat it would be kool 2 see the robots with jetpacks so the y could fly around. Sektor should have a move that is a combo kinda likes kenshis telekenitik rush. teloport punch should come back 4sure cause if it didnt it would be like cyrax with out the net.

His costume shold be slimmer not like cluncky metalic armour it should be thinner and have more of a gloss . I dont really agree with the whole half robot have person it should be a diff color or style.

Yeah, Sektor was the first one built in the Lin Kuei I still say it's tough between Cyrax and Sektor as far as popularity but I did make a Cyrax and Sektor thread for this reason hehe.It's awesome.

Sektor's new concept is awesome, I still say he should have a human form not completely partially.

Also staying with Sektor, i have an idea which is in my armageddon fanfic which is nearly finished.

Say Cyrax leaves the special forces in order to restore Sektor's humanity. He does this because he himself has restored humanity (as we've seen in previous games).

He accomplishes this with the help of Kenshi who has asked for Sub-Zero's help, due to the Lin Kuei link.

Noob Saibot meanwhile has his army, which Sub-Zero knows about. Sektor devises a plan using his and Cyrax's technology to bring the Tekunin into the netherealm, into battle against Noob and Smokes demon cyborg army. Sub-Zero comes along as well to try and help Smoke.

Throw Scorpion and Frost into the mix and you've got a storyline.

Full Scale conflict ensues.

I agree. Cyrax turned kind of gay in Deadly Alliance. He wasnt the same as I thought he would be. His appearence on DA Wasn't that "cyborgish" And the spot between his chest and hip (The black part) Had a negative part to him, And his fatality wasnt that Descreptive he shoudve atleast done more than just grab the opponment and bring him inside of himself and explode. I hope sektor would atleast be more

I'm not entirely sure I agree with that, perhaps a little bit but until we actually see Sektor's storyline evolve literally, it's more big time speculation with Sektor more then Cyrax.Cyrax's storyline has tons of potential assuming they do some good things with it.Like say have Sektor find the special forces and kill Jax and Sonya, then it's down to Cyrax and Sektor as the military special forces battles with Sektor's clan.Have Sektor and Cyrax duke it out.
Things like this I can see happening.I think if they face each other it would help both of their storylines to be dead honest.
I also see the Lin Kuei getting involved helping the Special Forces out some how. against the Tekunin.

Heh everything i read always makes Sektor the bad guy, against many an enemy. Sure this is probably gonna happen but if it does, i hope he gets an ally or two.

I mean having an army is one thing, but having a comrade of near same ability is another.

Since its armageddon, undoubtedly some of them will die, but it'd be great for them to have a last stand, united.

Probably won't happen. We've had Cyrax turn good and join the OIA, and Smoke seems to still be struggling with his own nature (Ashrah's ending). Sektor's got to be the one to balance it out as the villain.

Sektor should definetly look exactly like the concept pic. It is awesome. I love the tank look, as he should be a more power than stealth related character, since he uses missiles in combat afterall.

His alt could be a battle worn version. Paint scratching off, pieces missing bent and destroyed. Cheap replacements, ect. For example, some or the plates on his legs missing with cables and other equipment exposed. Some rust here and there. Some of the cables running between joints on his ligaments could be removed,w ith exposed individual wires hanging between the back of his knee or the inside of his elbow. Some of the hair like tentacle cables could be torn with sparks flying from them. I also think his face gaurd could be missing, with a welding mask as a makeshift replacement. He could be using steal plates as makeshift armour in opened up areas, simply bolted on.

For his weapon, im thinking he could use a cattleprod inspired weapon. Hear me out. It would be a short handle, like a lightsaber thats turned off, but when he uses it, arcs of electricity about a metre long or so leap from it almost randomly. As he swings it the arcs would leap out infront of him like an electric whip. He could also do poking motions, where the arcs would be shortened but a concentrated shock would be given on impact.

He would definetly be evil

He should use the missles out of the hatch on his chest. He should be able to do straight shots (lets say, Forward forward punch) that could be doubled up to do two shots (FFPP) since he would have two barels sidebyside in the chest. Doing two shots would garantee two hits if you hit with the first, but further risk if the first is dodged as the secound would follow the same line of sight and would leave you stuck still for longer.
He could also do angled shots. This would fire two shots at the same time, both would move outward slightly to the side, so the player would get hit if they sidestepped one way or the other, but not if they didnt. Mixxing this with the above would be useful, but skilled players could wait and see if one or two missles is fired, then make a hasty decision on sidestepping or not.
Homing missles should also be possible. These would fire then turn off as they just leave the barrel. They would drop slightly under the influence of gravity as they lock on. A 3 beep lockon signal would sound, and they would fire straight at the oponents position (when the beeps went off) then curve left or right depending on if they sidestep (to avoid it, the player would sidestep, then dash forward, causing the missle not to turn tightly enough for impact) the missle could continue to follow by curving around and coming back from behind, but if this was then sidestepped, they would go straight back and hit Sektor. He could double these up like the straight shots.

I agree with you for the most part, I think he will be more powerful this time around then flexible/stealth like.He's not apart of the Lin Kuei anymore, so no need for stealt assassin style.


His story is all knew now, with lots of potential.I want to see Sektor fight Cyrax in the end of MK:A.One of them dying, if not both.Lock on can be cheesy I see possibly if you'll only be able to block it, you shouldn't be able to side step it because it's a seeking missle but like MK3 should be able to jump away from it if you can.That's my opinion.Straight missle different story, that should be easy side step like other projectiles.

Cyrax: they need to keep his origional costume, becasue the other 2 changed or are going to. Maybe a cool alternate costume, eh heh and not one with out his helmet... im left speachless about that

Smoke: I wish they could make him human again, i think they could make such a sick version of him human. But i gess he is pretty cool in shaolin monks and Deception

Well, after seeing that new awesome vid of Sektor.I had to bring this thread up again.Ok all Sektor Fan boys, lets talk some Sektor.Since we know more about him now.


For now he has Choy Lee Fut(Ermac's second stance in Deception)

-Flamethrower move
-Straight Missle
-Showering Missle(similar to Sub's in MK3)
-Old teleport back with a twist with the green details/numbers or squares for some what ever lol.It looks cool.

So, what do you think about his new look and all?

He also has a battleship in the Konquest mode so perhaps that will find it's way into his arcade storyline.

If you read the article on gamespot dude, you'll find it.It's on the second page I believe.It says Sonya fights Sektor on his battleship.
