Why doesn’t it surprise me that whenever a bad statement is made about kitana, fanboys jump and attack the only character that has nothing to do with her, actually, the one character that does not even disserve to be compared to that piece of garbage?

It annoys me (reason why I don’t post much) to see some of the most childish comments ever! One I read not so long said that if kitana was killed, then Sonya should be killed too.

I have come to understand (by most of the posts here) that kitana fans hate and fear sonya, for the only reason (fact) that she is better. I will be honest, I only disliked kitana before, I disliked her very much, but fanboys have made me hate her more then ever!

People debate over Sonya and Kitana because they are arguably the most popular or at least most recognized female characters in Mortal Kombat. And the fact that they are nothing alike makes it more interesting. Why do people debate Scorpion vs. Sub-Zero more than they debate Scorpion vs. Smoke? Why is the Freddy vs. Jason debate more interesting than Jason vs. Michael Myers?

Ok guys, have you NOT noticed something? Kitana fans ARE NOT going to back down, why would they? She is obviously their favorite MK female. The exact same holds true to Sonya fans(Everyone who knows me, knows I am definitely in THIS category), THEY WILL NOT back down or give in on the issue either. No amount of Ranting and Raving about how much the other sucks, is gonna change anyone's minds.

And for the record, neither character 'sucks' There are just some people who like ONE more than the other. AND THAT IS FINE!! And, as said before, Why is that whenever Kitana is attacked SONYA is the first one to get attacked in revenge by Kitana fans? The Same hold true for Sonya, whenever something bad is said of her; there's always people that say "She's WAY better than that stupid bitch Kitana!" If I had to guess, I think I'd say it was because Sonya and Kitana BOTH are like the Iconic females of MK. Easily having much bigger fan bases than that of the other females...with Mileena coming in third I think.

I am an EXTREME Sonya fan, but yet, you don't see me going around bashing Kitana or telling Kitana fans that they are stupid for liking her.

The fact is NEITHER of them should die! The MAIN problem people seem to be having with these two is that their stories are going nowhere. There are other complaints here and there, but this is the main one. PEOPLE..This is EASILY fixed! Their stories could go anywhere! It's not necessary to "Kill Off" a character when the story has become a bit stale. Especially concerning FAV characters like these two are. The MK team simply has to work with them, change their direction. Either slightly, or have them do a complete turn about. Once again: Killing either character is not NECESSARY! They are BOTH great characters, with good moves and fighting ability. Quite frankly getting rid of either would be a waste. Why get into wars over it?

I Love Sonya...Yet, I don't HATE Kitana. She's not my favorite character, but by NO means my most hated. I don't want her to die anymore than I want Sonya to.

Well...I certainly try my best. However my efforts usually tend to be thwarted by nasty little argument loving buggers like yourself!

I'm not really that much of a Kitana hater or anything but killing her would probably be the best thing to happen to her storyline-wise in years. Reminds me of a certain someone... Wonder if she dies she'll come back as a zombie and/or ghost as well.

I think the best thing that could happen to kitana's storyline is that she is overthrown by mileena... and she becomes a beggar... or that she is brainwashed again..

I LIVE kitana since MK2.. she was my fav then... but since she became princess she is a bitch.. I say she should be just another kombatant again... nothing special... just a cool fighter

I'm curious how all of the Kitana-haters believe she is a weak character, yet stand by knock-offs such as Tanya and Jade as "true" characters. Lets look at the storylines shall we?

Mileena - The easiest one. The clone of Kitana. let me say it again...CLONE. Shes not even a real person. Without Kitana, she has no storyline. Wow, she looks cool in her new outfit. Big deal.

Jade - Kitana/Sindel's bodyguard. Wow, thats a deep plot. Moving on...

Sindel - Lame plot excuse to bring about MK3, the worst of the games. First, why was she allowed to participate in Mortal Kombat in the first place seeing as how it was her lifeforce that Shao Kahn's plans hinged on. Weak plot for a weak game. I can only hope that the Bride of Frankenstein is much better in MKD. *Sidenote* for those of you that hated Kitana's fighting styles in MKDA, newsflash, Sindel has Eagle Claw.

Tanya - Who? Oh, the lame-ass MK4 girl. A master of deception. Riiight. Well, she must not be very good if eveyone aready knows shes evil. At least Frost covered her ambition up fairly well till the end. This girl couldn't be a cheaper knock-off if she was stamped with made-in-taiwan.

Kitana - Princess and Ruler of Edenia. General of Edenia's forces against Shao Kahn. One of MK's best fighers. She originally thought she was the daughter of Shao Kahn until she learned the truth that he murdered her real father, and since that day stopped at nothing to destroy his hold on Edenia. Yea...I can see how she has a weak plot...

I'm not a Kitana fanboy by any means, but she has a far more solid plot than most of the characters in the game.

Kitana owns all females, including Sonya

What I find most amusing is that "they" were calling everyone else childish and immature.
