That footage was taken well before DA was even released. The DA footage is old.

No he's not, Kenshi is doing his fatality on Kung Lao from MK:DA. It's an old fatality, The new one they show that is in Deception is against Nightwolf.

I did notice in Kenshis bio vid that he is useing his new straight sword against shang, I remember his old sword was slightly curved, this one is straight. Anyway I may be wrong, who knows till we get the game.

That was old footage from MK:DA, in case you didn't notice his name was BLIND Kenshi which was his early name, and the Straight Sword was his old weapon before Midway decided to give it to Shang Tsung instead and have Kenshi use a Katana.
The footage with Kenshi vs Kung Lao was old footage from MK:DA as well because there it also said BLIND Kenshi.
Shang Tsung isn't even a playable character in Mortal Kombat: Deception although he will probably show up in Konquest mode like all of the other characters in the Mortal Kombat universe.
