This intro movie brings up more questions then answers. But I’m sure all of them will be answered in Deception. Shujinko says that he is responsible for the Dragon Kings power so we will probable see how exactly this is possible in Konquest mode.

If Quan Chi and Shang Tsung are alive then there is a good chance they will be playable as a super unlockable.

Okey, the intro was really awesome. However, it did not say THAT much; but it said enough to let you start the game. However, there is only 1 thing I CAN'T understand...if that is the full intro...WHY THE HELL THEY DON'T PUT THE DAMN MILEENA VS BARAKA VIDEO!!!; I have a feeling it will be like in MKDA with the Scorpion VS Quan Chi one. Also, about the FMV endings someone mentioned; I thought they were gonna do them, till I saw an interview with Ed-Boon where he said: "We have a FMV team working hard on the Deception Intro, it's going to be really awesome this time.". That's when I thought: "Fuck, the FMV team was only to make the intro..."; let's just hope that's not true and that they have more FMV's in the game other than the intro, either as extras or endings.

Yet, I haven't seen the video, and I'm not planning on to, but in the main page with the news, it does say it's the intro of the game, but spoiler free, meaning that is not the whole movie. I agree it might be a teaser. Oh i cant wait to get the game. i don't want to watch the intro till I get the game, but my desperation and curiosity might get the best of me.
I rather see more bios.

Shujinko said he's the only one with the true power to defeat Onaga. He must know something nobody else does apparently.

I'm glad they didn't show all kinds of chracters and such, I'm hoping most of this game stay a mystery.

Although that may not be possible if I visit this website until October 4th.

i wanted to see the dragon king breaking into kitana's palace and her guards trying to fighting him off but he kills them all then kitana tries to fight him but fails and u see him beat her up and carry her away to his dungeon and i would like to see millena init aswell

The intro is the main plot of the game and what you guys are asking for has nothing to do with the main plot of the story so use you frigging mine before asking for Sub Zero's heritage and other bullshits.

This is exactly what I noticed too, and I completely agree. I'm sure they got out of there, but I bet Shang and Quan will be blackened like Raiden too. which would still look cool, they're the new Noobs! Here's hoping that if they are super unlockables we'll get to use that skull shield and flame snake attack!

I think just like Dark Noob said that raiden and the sorcerors were maybe a bit tired after the fight and it was the reason why the DK was looking so powerful.

Just wondering, why does the DK stole the amulet from Quan Chi, and how much does losing the amulet will affect Quan?

Quan Chi is a very powerful being in his own right, but the amulet holds the power of the Fallen Elder God Shinnok. If The Dragon King were to harness it; let's just say, holy shit.

You're correcting me for something I never said. If you read my posts on the subject you'd realize I don't believe any endings are canon until the next game comes out, which is true. My point was that in a character's ending you find out a lot more about them, just like in their bios or in Konquest. They may not happen, but you discover their motivations.

Uhh... I read and perfectly understood what you said in this very thread. If you would've made your point a little more elaborate, then I wouldn't have to correct you on something you never said.

And even with the number of endings that are cannon (which only get revealed to be cannon by the next game) they still could be counted on one hand.
