MK2 is the God of 2-D fighters 'nuff said

I hope someday Boon makes another mk 2-d game i miss it alot.

I think that the only thing that MK4 & MKD have in common is TANYA, b/c she is the only new character from MK4 who is coming back as a playable character. (I think she is the only one right???) However this is only my humble opinion though....

what do you expect Mk:D is gonna either be worse or the same as MK4 was

mk4 gold still has the best endings; cannot argue that. mk5 had the best gameplay and mk2 had the best design. mk3 was way too comic book and cartoony but it had a good fighting system upgrade. mk6 easily looks like mk5 + mk2.

How was mk3 cartoony it didnt look cartoonish to me.All the models looked real same with the robots.If you want to talk about cartoonish play mk4 or 5 the models are huge and exaggerated and the fatatlitys had popcorn.You are right though mk3 does have a great fighting system.

The most of MK:D looks like MK2 but there might be a lack of some important characters like Kitana and Liu Kang. I hope that those 2 characters will return and with all their classic special moves from MK2 (of course with some adds and enhancement).

I almost forgot, Raiden should also return with his classic special moves from MK2 in order for the MK:D to have a similar feeling of MK2.

Am I the only one who thinks it resembles MK3 more than any of the others?

We've got chain combos, like in MKDA that were first introduced in MK3; interactive environments, the principle of which was first shown in MK3 (to fight in, not perform fatalities in); and the return of a lot of characters who haven't been seen since MK3.

Luckily, we have got the dark 'n nasty fatalities of MKII back also

aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! WTF!!! How did a terrible comparison get so many responses. 75% of the people ere say its like MK2. My thread of MKD and MK2 similarities has died because of this. It now rests in peace on the second page.

I think decpetion is more like MK2. MK2 was undoubtedly the best of th whole series. I actually thought MK4 was quite good. But still the least best of all

I love mk4, mk2 is my fav, then mk4, then mk1, then da, then umk3, then mk3.... id say deception is like MK2 and MK3 tho.......

I think is game is going to be more like mkda.Theres no way this is going to be like mk2 i mean mk2 is 2-d.
