Not bad so far, but a couple questions: why does Raiden appear in the Netherealm? Also, isn't he in conflict with the Elder Gods? And why do you keep saying G-d instead of God? If you're trying not to offend anyone I don't think it'll be a problem on this message board, and if you're religious I'm sure it doesn't count as taking the lord's name in vain.

Good Story but where is Scorpion.

Well I think it's an ok start. My first problem with this story is Liu Kang. I wouldn't want Liu to be resurrected to defeat the Dragon King. I think Kung Lao should step up to be the new champ because MK needs to move on without Liu. Another problem I have is with Frost. If her ending really did happen, I would have liked to have had an explanation but I'm sure you will most likely provide one later on.

I will leave Liu Kang out of this now :p Ill find a way to get rid of him. I said G-d because i didnt want to offend anyone, so i will say it normally now. Raiden was in the Netherealm and made a potal to the Elder Gods there to ask for help. Yes, i knoww that they have a beef with eachother but that part showed a little tension. Raiden wewnt back to Netherealm, and will try to find the portal to Outworld with his people!

Chapter 2: Scorpion

Raiden was the only one awake when he heard a noise close by. Raiden lit his staff to search for who made the noise. He woke Frost up from her sleep. “There’s someone near. You must come with me. It was part of our agreement.” Raiden whispered to Frost. The agreement Raiden spoke of, was getting her out of the Lin Kuei Headquarters, and in return she would aid in the fight against the Dragon King. Frost stayed away from Sonya, who despises her because of Frost’s attitude. Her Kori powers are now much improved, and could take on more enemies. Frost got up and followed Raiden. The terrain of the Netherealm was very rocky and rundown in some parts. A place that was not very livable to much, but was a battlefield. Raiden walked over several fallen pieces of a fallen statue. Frost heard another noise behind her and turned around to see Scorpion. Raiden quickly shot an electricity shock at Scorpion, which sent him flying in the air. Scorpion had a score to settle with Quan Chi and the two Oni. The noise of Scorpion’s landing woke the others up from their sleep. Johnny Cage got up and tried to do his Shadow Kick at Scorpion, but Scorpion blocked it. “Stop!” Raiden yelled, while raising his staff, causing a bolt of lighting in the sky. Scorpion looked at Johnny Cage, then looked at Raiden. “What are you doing here, Scorpion?!” Raiden yelled. Scorpion didn’t answer, but may not have wanted to bring harm to this group. Scorpion instead raised a fire from the ground that lit the campfire. Everyone watched the fire rise up, so no one noticed where Scorpion went. He just disappeared, but left a piece of paper on the ground. Raiden walked over to the paper and picked it up. “It’s a map.” Raiden said, as he picked up the map. “It’s a map to the Outworld portal. Scorpion must want us to lead him there, to seek revenge probably. I suggest we leave at dawn. I will be looking at the map, and hopefully I can tell if we’re close. Go back to sleep.” Raiden told the group. Johnny chose not to go to sleep, but to go with Raiden and observe the map. After the others started to sleep, Johnny started to speak.
“So, how does it look?” Johnny asked.
“Not great. We will have to cross the army of the Vampires. I can’t predict how long it is to the portal though.” Raiden responded.
“Nitara leads the Vampire army right?”
“Not much is known about these creatures. She is a very skilled warrior, and I assume she is up there in the ranks. Sleep now, Johnny. You need the rest.”
“Okay. I have a feeling that that Noob Saibot character is near. I never liked him.” Johnny walked away, and went back to sleep.
“He is near. I just don’t know where though.” Raiden told himself worriedly, as he looked at the map detail more.

Very well done so far. I can't wait for the next chapter. But I think Scorpion could of dodged that lightning bolt.

Chapter 3: Even Noobs Fight

After dawn, everyone awoke as planned and ate their breakfast. Everyone ate eggs and marshmallow, which showed that these fighters were in need of some more nutritious food, but this was the least of their problems this pale morning. The group started to walk in the rough terrain talking to each other but very cautious. As the Dragon King gained more power, this group gained more enemies. Raiden sensed the Dragon King’s spies luring around the area, watching the group closely. Raiden raised a hand to the group to stop them. He raised his staff to the clouds, and it started to rain in the area. He then looked around and saw an outline of someone standing still next to a standing statue. The figure still didn’t move, but when Raiden stepped closer, the figure revealed himself. It was Noob Saibot, native to the Netherealm and an ex-spy for Shao Kahn. Once Noob appeared in his ninja suit, he pointed at Kung Lao. This seemed like a challenge, and Lao accepted it and told the others to stand back. Sonya then went to Raiden. “Why Kung Lao? Why not someone else?”
“He knows that Kung Lao stands the best chance at defeating the Dragon King. He would’ve ambushed Lao at a later time most likely. I was going to tell the group Sonya, but Liu Kang won’t return. The monks of his former village were highly against the ritual of disrupting Liu’s trip to the Heavens.” Raiden told Sonya.
“We’re just going to watch this fight? What if he needs our help?” Sonya asked worriedly.
“Just watch, Sonya. Kung Lao is very skilled.” Jax said, while putting a hand on her shoulder. Kung Lao stood about twenty feet away from Noob Saibot, who stood in a fighting stance. Noob Saibot was in his gray ninja suit, with his head showing, which was a skull. Raiden yelled out ‘fight’, and the match started. Noob’s fighting style was quick, and used that skill to block his opponents. Kung Lao ran and jumped at Noob, but he grabbed his foot and threw him away. Kung Lao got up and Noob came running towards him, but Lao took his hat off and decapitated Noob’s foot from his leg. Noob fell down in pain, but shot smoke at Kung Lao’s face, causing him to blinded for a few seconds. Noob took out his sword, and used it as a walker so he can get up. He stood on one foot and slashed Lao in the arm, giving him a big cut in his left arm. Kung Lao kicked the sword away from Noob, and took his hat off again. This time he decapitated his head. After the skull fell off, the whole body just disappeared in smoke, making the group wonder if they would ever see him again. They probably will, but not during this conflict. Noob isn’t that stupid to fight Lao again. After Kung Lao picked his hat off the ground, Raiden called the group over for some important announcements.

Raiden appeared back in Netherealm. Raiden already contacted several fighters from the past, so he was ready. First, they needed to find the portal to Outworld, then they need to find Dragon King in Outworld. The Vampire army is now under control of the Dragon King, and likewise with the Oni. Now with Liu Kang, the Earth may be safe once more. There seemed to be someone helping the Dragon King get back together, but this was a mystery to Raiden. Who can it be? There are so many different types of beings that it could be, so it was too hard to guess. “Raiden, what do we do now?” Sub-Zero asked. They were all sitting down around a campfire. Jax, Sonya, Kung Lao, Frost, Sub-Zero, Kitana, Johnny Cage, and an unmasked Cyrax were sitting and listening to new developments around the fire. “We walk, and walk until we find a lead to Outworld’s portal. Then we will see. We will leave in the morning. Be aware through the night. New evils will soon awake. Goodnight.” Raiden put the fire out, and didn’t sleep. Instead he watched for intruders throughout the night.

It's great, but I was wondering what characters would really be developed, all of them or just Kung Lao? Because I'd really like to see where you go with mainly Johnny Cage because maybe you could give him a better story than the MK Team. Great work keep it up!

Which characters other than Kung Lao and Johnny Cage should i develope? I cant do it with everyone because the story would be boring. Next chapter in about 11 hours, so keep the comments coming!!!

Sub Zero he has alot to deal with Red Dragon,Sareena,and other stuff to so it would make sense

I don't really want Kung Lao developed I don't like him much I was wondering if he was the main character develope Cage if you can and maybe throw in a little something between him and Sonya like the movie if you can, thanks for being so intrested in what we want from the story that's really cool of you. Chapter 4: A Frosty Leash

Raiden told the group about the absence of Liu Kang, and that he won’t return. “What will we do?! We can’t win this!” Kitana yelled out, while standing up in
a circle of fighters. Kitana is the daughter of Edenia's original ruler, Jerrod. She was once an assassin for Shao Kahn until he took over Edenia, making it a part of Outworld. She be-friended Liu Kang while an assassin.
“All of you were chosen for a reason. Kung Lao may take the place as Liu Kang, he may not. Johnny, you may and you may not. And so on for all of you. Over the time you will find out. We need to start traveling before the Dragon King regains his powers. We travel west for another day or so. I can’t be exact. We mustn’t waste anymore time, let’s go!” Raiden announced. After a quick second, the group got up and started walking.
“Hey Sonya.” Johnny Cage said to Sonya ahead of him. “My neck hurts. How about a massage?”
“Jerk.” Sonya responded, while walking away. They walked cautiously, until a fight broke out. Obviously, Sonya and Frost have been giving themselves looks this whole time, so Frost started a fight. Frost took out her daggers and went for Sonya. Sonya was surprised by these acts, so she backed away unarmed. The movements startled Jax, so he ran over to Frost, turned her around and gave her some piston punches. Frost dropped her daggers, and she fell to the ground from the punches. Sub-Zero took her daggers away, Raiden put her on an electricity leash. If she moves in an unsuspected way, then she will be shocked.
“It’s a shame this had to happen. Let this be a lesson to anyone who acts like a fool!” Raiden said, as he started to point his staff at her. After the ordeal was over, there was a bridge that was falling apart. They needed to cross this bridge in order to continue. They decided to walk one by one on this bridge. The bridge was about as wide as a car is, and very wobbly. Sonya crossed first, and while she was halfway she felt the ground shaking. Soon, noises started to be heard coming towards the bridge.
“Don’t move!” Raiden yelled out to the group. They waited until the noises were visible. They were the Vampire army, led by Nitara. Sonya ran back to the to land, from the bridge. The army must have had around 100 fighters. Nitara yelled out a verse in some language to the army, which was probably “Attack!” Raiden thought for a minute, and as some of the Vampires were going on the bridge, he made a bolt of lightning strike the bridge, causing it to fall down with about twenty Vampires. The normal soldiers in the Vampire army looked like a weaker Nitara. Not so detailed, and only some had wings. This caused some Vampires to fly over, actually many. The fight of Armies has begun.
