He was a great concept. He just disappeared. He had some cool moves and would look badass on a next gen concole. His story and look were pretty good. He has lots of potential storywise also.

Of the characters you named, I'd like to see the following return:

Blaze: He has an interesting story and wasn't as bad as everyone made out. He was one of the better MKDA chaarcters and I would love to see him return and complete his story and mission.

Drahmin: I didn't like him, but his story was good and I'd like it to be finished.

Frost: She is awesome! She has great styles and attacks and a great story! She should return so we can learn if she is truly evil.

Fujin: He kicks ass! He was easily one of the better MK4 characters. I'd love to see him return, revamped and with a new story.

Kitana: She's a fave and it would be awful not having her playable. Her story needs a new direction though and MKD would be perfect to get this for her. She's also just a brilliant character.

Kung Lao: He owns! He is a complete badass and his story rocks. he hould definitely be back. He's another fave!

Mavado: The coolest arrival in MKDA and also one of the badasses! He kicks ass and his story is very involving and awesome! He has so much potential and he should be back.

Nitara: Easily one of the more powerful and best MKDA characters and because of that she should return. Her look and story were also amazing! She too has lots of potential.

Quan Chi: He has to return. he's apart of the Deadly Alliance and we need to see what happens next. Plus he kicks ass!

Reptile: I don't want him to be the Dragon King. It would be an extreme loss if he were not to return as himself. He's a great character.

Sareena: I've recently read her story and it is amazing! She could be good, bad or neutral. She has so much story potential it's unbelievable!

Sektor: He has to return and try to execute his revenge against Sub-Zero. He has his new army behind him and it would be a shame not to have this kick ass character back.

Shang Tsung: As half of the Deadly Alliance he must return. Shang owns and kicks ass and his story is great. He must return.

Sonya: The original MK chick is a must. Her story needs some work and MKD would be a great time for it to become great. She kicked ass in MKDA and she needs to come back.

Building up the stories in MKDA of the majority of these characters I named and then not to have them return in MKD is stupid imo.

OK I'll explain why, because I think we need to know more about her people(vampires). Plus she could bring another vampire(male).

Frost-She was one of the best newest characters in MK: DA. Her story should be expanded in MK: Deception, via as a kombatant and not just konquest .

Johnny Cage - I thought in the last game Johnny Cage's story would make a turn for the better. I won't give up on this character. I want to see Johnny Cage return with a new damn story! Kobra reminds me alot of Johnny Cage, perhaps Johnny Cage is connected to this character? Mabey he is a mentor to this young warrior and they share the same stubborn attitude? What if Kobra is too arrogant and begins to think for himself? Who will bring this young warrior back on the path of the light? Johnny Cage might.

Kung Lao - Liu Kang is back, so what will his Shaolin Brother do? Kung Lao was bent on revenge in the last game, but if he achieved it and Liu Kang returns what is he going to think? What if Liu Kang is evil? Will Kung Lao fight his Shaolin brother?

Sonya - What if the Red Dragon strikes again? Will there be anyone to stop them? Sonya is one of the only soldiers that are capable of doing so. Sonya has been through so much and she must return to aid the damaged Special Forces.

SEKTOR!!!
I want to see his Fatalitys, and he's a cool Charakter because of his rocket moves and his badass look!

Sareena- Huge potential and I've had high hopes for her since Mythologies.

Kitana- One of my favorites and her involvement with Sindel, Jade, Mileena, and Tanya would be interesting.

Sektor- One of my favorites and the bad ass cyborg. His Tekunin story sounds cool too and I want to see where that goes.

Quan Chi- Another favorite and and a bad ass villain. Just want him to be more like he was in Mythologies and MK4, the shadow player who manipulated from the background.

Shao Kahn- Love to see him return as a playable character. I think it'd cool if he came back as an enemy to the Dragon King AND the Earth warriors and was just in it for himself.

Kintaro- A playable 3D Shokan would rule. I also want Kintaro to develope, I think he has good potential that he should get a chance to live up to.

Reiko- I always liked Reiko and I think if done correctly, he could have a good story. And if nothing else, his appearing in the same game with Shao Kahn would finally end the Reiko/Kahn bullshit.

Also'd like to see Kung Lao, Nitara, Frost, and Mavado come back. No specific reason.

Kitana, Kung Lao, Sektor, Shang Tsung.

Well, since the original post only said one, I gotta go with Shang Tsung. I've always felt he's been the most pivotal character in Mortal Kombat. Plus he's just plain bad ass. It was a big toss up though between him, Quan Chi and Kung Lao.

SONYA

Mk is just NOT MK without the original female character of the game! She has evolved in every single aspect and improved greatly in each one of the series. She is also one of the few that has been around and involved in every game.

Johnny Cage:

No matter how much you hate him, he has been around since game 1. He has proven to be one of the fan faves and has some of the best special moves and fatalities.

Nitara:

Best new character ever introduced in the games of MK. She has lots of potential and is a sure must to return, at least for Mk7.

Frost:

She has great potential. And I hope she returns at least for Mk7.

Fujin, Drahmin, Kai, Mavado, Rain, Reiko, Sareena, Sektor and Sheeva would also be great!!!
