I would have gotten a programmable for mkd simply to have a double cs button... If you duck long enough vs the cpu he goes from first stance to weapon and back and i really wanted to do that

One button parry cancels, back+block/down.... you say you can get pretty good precision on timing right? well time the 'down' late enough to get an active parry but still cancel it. Mash that shit and you might be invincible!

I can do this with a standard ps2 controller, but to time it with an active parry seems impossible

I don't actually understand why folks are jumping on Atari's ass on this one. I doubt that those controllers enhance online gameplay. But the whole idea still fascinates me, regardless.

For those of you who are getting the wrong idea, no matter what I program there is still recovery frames. The exact same moves can be performed with or without the progammable. Again, it helps with execution.

If you feel that me having the abilty to execute a teleslam with more accuracy unfair, then you should feel the same way about an unfair lag advantage. Adapt.





Parry cancel......

I can program it, but it doesnt work consistantly for me offline. I think it has to do with the rate the commands are executed.

I still havent nailed that one yet. Ive tried a few different ways to program it, but Im not getting consistent results.

But Yeah, what I do program is the white button to be a block command. It makes it easier to parry that way. For me at least.
Standard button configuration option would have been helpfull.

Funny you should say that MKLegend. To program a string or a combo is risky. What if my opponent uses a breaker? what if he blocks? What if there is lag??

What happens is you get caught with you pants down for 30 frames. No advantage there. Another thing, the attacks are 100% avoidable. They are just attacks, the controller doesnt think for you, just helps with execution.......49.99....you interested? The good ones are discontinued but I can get them.....




Now, if I had Bobbys connection, and I programmed machine gun knives for the entire match.....that is kinda shady on my part.....to get on MKO and act like Im the best is gay.....but I think its still legit. Good question... I tried everything imaginable. Offline, that works fine. Button mashing is a big no no online with the controller. No No.

Although, I dont button mash offline because I can actually program buffered knives and they come out even smother. Computer just stands there.

ONLINE - after I throw a knife I have to wait 2-3 extra frames. Thats why they come out so slow. I actually have to program them like that or else she would get hung up on her recovery. Thats the fastest I can get them to come out.

Interesting points, however HB was NOT a legit player in my mind, he was not only an asshole but a puller...in MKD I beat him, he pulled wayyy back. His bo did shit againt my Dai and N/S...

He was up there with Styles, milfhunter etc as far as I'm concerned.
