What?
NightWolf
Funjin, mostlikely will be in prison.
Would be nice though...to have fujin.
Sub-Zéro's a Ninga...

You didn't watch the MK4 storyline.....

I want to see Fujin come back but non-god and evil
And I think that it's Nightwolf (or Sub-Zero) the main protector of the Earthrealm.

Who knows, i think it wud be cool if they had NO ONE to turn to....it wud make it scarier, and harder and cooler~ Maybe Rayden wanted Fujin to takeover, but Fujin was locked up and now they have no one to turn to....

Raiden is not dead. If he was, then he wouldn't be in the Kombatants of MK:Deception, now would he? He's got a somewhat new look, sans cape and girdle, and he has a profile, which I doubt they'd give him if he was dead and not playable in the game.
Most likely, he permanently gave up his godlihood, releasing it as a shockblast in a last ditch effort to take down the DK. Since that didn't work, he goes to take him out the old fashioned way.
I, actually, think this story is stupid. Raiden is a god. He needs all the help and support he can get to help earth's warriors take down the DK. Sacrificing his godliness would leave him *extremely* vulnerable, since he would no longer have any means to protect himself other than his fighting prowess.
Instead, he should've tried to get the Elder Gods to help, and if they refused, then he should steal back the Elder God status that he relinquished in MK:DA and go kick some scaley royal ass.

I have a feeling Raiden isn't all out yet. All we know is that he made a fuck of a sacrafice. He's probably just no longer within god status anymore.
But if he did die, I give my vote to Nightwolf.

Raiden without his powers? I prefer the return of Kurtis Stryker...

Ok, so Raiden has made the sacrifice to give up his power(or most of it) and fight along side the mortals, hmm. Ive seen better, then again I've seen worse too. Too bad his sacrifice didn't have any affect on the Dragon King. And we finally know what the Deception in the title means. I think it's pretty creative, but not something shocking.

It just means that Raiden is mortal now. Shin, you prefer the return of Stryker? No offense, but, he sucks.

Yes, he sucks... but Raiden without thunder powers sucks more.

But if Raiden is mortal, wouldn't have to conserve his powers...

Sub, you're going by moves. You need to go by storyline. Don't worry about anything. Acts 1:18.

Uh, if he's in a fucking bio profile then I think it's safe to say he isn't dead. I could be wrong on that one, though.
To answer the question, though: Kang
I don't know how an infinate, a crouch which voids RJ's and bomb zoning ballances out to a character who "sucks." Meh, whatever.
Raiden is going to be top tier, I can feel it.
