I found that he fit very well into the MK world. It was refreshing to get a new, non-shokan sub-boss. Wish he'd had more of a story, though.

I really like him a lot. Of all the Sub-Boss and Boss's in MK1-3 He was my fav. I liked how he was different from every one else, that he wasn't another Shokan. I liked his design a lot and just thought he was a kool beast type character. Only thing I didn't like about him (though at the same time do like about him as well) is that he could be an awful pain in the ass to beat that some times I'd end up trying over and over again and just get frustrated. Anyways I'm very excited for him in MKA and can't wait to see how he looks (I imagine he will have a make over as well). Motaro is really one of the top things I liked best about MK3/UMK3. Such a great character imo.

He wasn't all that great of a boss, but the MK team did a great job pulling away from the Shokan sub-bosses. He has a great look and... wow, I'm getting some nostalgia.

Motaro is intresting because he is a twist to the characters. hes an orginal because hes the only centuar in the MK games(ones u can acually play or face) One of the 2 hardest people i ever had to face game play wise. He does lack simplicty because he does the same things punch grab punch kick teleport fire ball orw/e the pattern was. I will wait until armageddon for a real rating but just for this 7.4/10

Interesting, original, and challenging sub-boss; piss-poor storyline.

Cool moves, boring story, great sub-boss (Harder than Kahn). He was kind of fun to play with, but it got boring after a while.

I would not say , he is a great character, but it would not hurt much to give him 9/10, it fits him most.

Ah, a big moster who can teleport... scary, scary.
Actually, he was the first sub-boss I was ever able to beat. I always had to switch to Scorpion when I got to Motaro, so that I could teleport punch him until either time ran out, or I actually KO-d him. Surprisingly enough, it worked every time. That's why I like Motaro.
Strangely enough, I never found out how to beat MK3 Shao Kahn. The "Duck Under the Rush Attack for a Free Uppercut" trick from MK2 didn't work anymore... but I digress.

10/10 for motaro.
