Somewhat decent. Original design and character traits, given his heart which basically forced him to be a slave to his work, unlike so many other characters who do it because they "want to".

Hsu Hao had a rather bad story imo in MKDA, but his look (specifically his alt) didn't look bad and I like the concept of him. He was good gameplay wise as well imo. Not a fav of mine, but I think he deserves a fair score.

one of the most underestimated and most unique characters in MK. Alongside a personality that has merit unlike enslave-me-slowly idiot Reptile and no-personality-whatsoever Jade Hsu Hao is a god.
And to think about what he has done to the OIA, well, ruthless as Mavado.
This guy is a powerhouse, not only gameplaywise, but he puts others to shame with a simple, yet outthought and working storyline. Cut the crap.

I've never seen him as a special Kombatent and therefore haven't had the ephusiasim to play him as much as the other Kharacters..

well he did have a great fighting style (wrestling) and i liked the sun-moons but hes not really great...

The man was able to inflitrate the OIA, remain there for ages, use them to take out the Black Dragon, and then nuke the place. It's ironic; He's stealthier than any of the ninjas ever were. His look, which is "nothing special", only hightens his importance as a spy. Hell, he could blend in anywhere as long as that apparatus is covered up. great fatality, some okay moves. Needs his own weapon style, though, Sun-Moon was a bad Butterfly copy.

I really love everything about Hsu Hao, minus his Alternate Costume. That really sucked. They need to give him a new one in MKA.

I just never liked Hsu Hao.
-Gameplay, he was alright. He wasn't great, though, but he wasn't horrible. I felt he was fairly average in that regard.
-Look-wise, he was fairly ugly. I don't want to know what his bizarre sexual fetishes are, but I bet they're as unique as his look is. He's the godless bastard child of a Nazi biker and a Mongolian sailor. Ugh. And though some people liked his laser heart, it just strikes me as odd that they guy even SHOWS his heart (major weakness) to the world. I mean, I could take him out with one good punch (THAT'S a heart-attack... oh, the humor.)
-His story, in the end, was weak. He's a lackey. Lackey's don't get my good graces in my book. Sure, he infiltrated the Special Forces, but those guys don't seem like the most capable group either (what when their members are a confused Cyborg, a blind guy, and 50-Cent... er, I mean Jax.) He's still some guy doing what he's told rather than being an individual with personal agendas. Pfft. I'd take Reptile over him anyday, 'cause at least Reptile's gone a little batty (and was Onaga once.)
