Not cuz everyone else likes him but he and sub zero put the later ninja's on the mk map and were the dealidest duo in mk1 all the way thru. They were the orignator's in a sense to spawn off more later ninjas in the series.
He was also the very 1st character i played as in mk1 in arcades and genesis back in 92 back when i was 8.
Scorpion is a legend forever, peroid.

While my personal belief is that Liu Kang IS MK, many more people believe that title belongs to Scorpion. I may not like that, but I have to respect it. 8/10

a veary good character story and gameplay wise but being Ed Boon's favorite is like how Triple H is Vince's favorite which made him a bit over rated so....... 6/10

For semimental reasons scorpion gets a 9/10 from me. Hes the first character i ever used first fatality i ever did was in a mirror match of scorpion vs scorpion. Just the ninja spectre open my eyes to mortal kombat and i can never forget that. That being said.hes story has winded down alittle bit hes always good game play wise and his looks are awesome.

Yay for tayna to finish in the bottom 10 it makes my day. Even if noob doesn't make the top 10 which he should be, just seeing tayna rot in the bottom 10 makes it all worth it.

i have to say... anyone who gave scorpion less than 8 didnt do him justice its not his fault midway messed up his story! as a character he is still badass!! 10/10

6.5/10. I enjoy playing as him, but both his look and storyline are getting boring and old. At least with Sub-Zero we have a wider variety of costumes than just the boring ninja thing.

other than jax and sub-0 scorpion is my fav character Boon may have messed up Scorpions story a bit but I Iike it a little.His moves are good and unique he got the best fatalities and his costumes are nice(not counting pallette swap costumes)10/10

A true vet of MK and worthy of the score.Scorpion has a great look and a good set of moves, he's one of the characters that Boon and Midway spend alot of time on and it shows. I mean, come on he's been to hell and back, you gotta rate him for that wink

One of the best! and most Iconic MK characters ever!
Anybody who "Hates" a character from the original Ten: Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Raiden, Kano, Sonya, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, Goro, and Shang Tsung is a MK atheist and a blasphemer, and should be banned from MK Online for life!
Scorpion gets a, 10/10

Stop hating on scorpion he's not an unoriginal ninja because he's the original, and he's not overused because he is the face of mk, when you tell someone mortal kombat i guarentee if there not a die hard fan but someone that has played it they'll think of scorpion, and saying he's overused is liek saying ken or ryu are overused in street fighter 10/10 Scorpion is the man period.
