New character forget her name though... a girl Raiden

Her name is ASHRAH. In PSM Magazine, she has brunnete, and Ashrah isn't a "Girl-Raiden", her story is totally unknow!

I'm just saying cause PSM said she has ties to Raiden and that she's a god or something and I didn't know her fucking name

She has brown hair.

She is called Ashrah.

Not rayden.

Not Sonya.

Related to Rayden.

Bad idea, I disliked Frost because she was just like Sub-Zero. Now there will be a female Raiden? I don't like that idea.

I don't like the idea much either Grizzle! If she is related to Raiden, she'd better not have any electrical powers. They already took away Sub-Zero's unique qualities from him by creating Frost. I don't want them to do it to my fave character too!

Can we get a quote from the magazine saying she's related to Raiden?

Since we've yet to see Raiden it could be possible that she is replacing him.

The PSM says that Her connection to Raiden IF ANY is a close guarded secret.

So wether she is related to Raiden or not is unknown.

The only relation is that her costume sort of looks like his, that'a all.

Well, I like the idea of other GODs in the game again. I just hope she doesn't replace "The Man!!!" Raiden rules!!!!

Exactly, and if assumes that Raiden only has been mortal in the events of the MK3, I doubt much that can have a daughter...

Wasn't Raiden mortal during the events in MK1? In order to compete he took on mortal form.

Also, who says Raiden has to be mortal in order to father children. Mythology is full of half-deity, half-human heroes and villians. The most famous is most likely Hercules of Greek/Roman mythos. Sticking with Greek/Roman mythos there were also gods that had human blood. Apollo, Artemis/Diana, Athena/Minerva, and Hermes/Mercury all had human mothers. I seriously doubt that Zeus/Jupiter would have given up his immortality as many times as he had fathered half-mortal children.
Update: The thought just hit me...wasn't Zeus's primary weapon a thunderbolt? Could he have been Raiden but under a different name? Nahhhhhh....
