I know that studying your own game on tape as I have done in the past can improve your game kind of like pro athletes when they watch vids of what they do up at the plate or pitching mechanics etc.

Red: You're an OK player. However, I wouldn't read any of your guides because the times I've played you, there was nothing in your gameplay I found inspiring. You go on and on about 33s. So you put all your focus on getting 33s and miss out on all the basic stuff i.e. your blocking dynamics, speed and pretty much everything you'd expect from anyone who thinks they're good enough to make a guide. And stop all the talk about lag effect. We all fricken lag. And no one has an advantage! In the end it all evens out.

And one more thing, stop going on about how MKF is running from YOU, G_roy and Pig. You're not in the same league as those 2 guys. So you need to get over yourself thinking someone is afraid of you.


MKF: I've played MKF a number times. His gameplay is not on Red's level (I mean he IS better than Red). The only thing I would say is MKF needs to expand his roster for his skill to be fully acknowledged by others. Mix up high and low tier characters. Mix them all the fuck and get good with everyone of them.

Plus, he needs to get series in with the likes of Pig, Groy and anyone claiming he's running from them. I believe he can compete at a high level but most importantly enjoy the series with them.
Pig is an immense player and series I've had with him ranks among the best especially when with the mics. The dude just wants to play and have fun.. Even if you lose to him, you do it with your head up high and know you'll have your revenge once you've adapted to their styles. Try it and forget all the BS that's been said in the past then people like Red would have nothing on you.

Interesting post Trax however I have expanded my roster even more now hehe, I'm not saying I can use everyone however I can use in total now 13 characters which from 6 at first is better since it's double.And some of those characters are well..new and much to my opponents surprise hehe.

Now, as far as Pig is concerned and I'm not one for lag or mentioning it but when we played a series the last time, not our recent bout where he left on me after 3 games lol but before that I felt something was up with connection.

Only reason why I brought that up was because his Cyrax (although good) was next to me one second, then far the next.It was rather annoying and I couldn't detect his movements I couldn't even parry his sword and not for nothing but I'm one of the best parry players online.Everyone knows I will parry you if you're not careful and turn the tables.However, FTR pig is one of those players like eazy who's gotten the best of me in series in MKA so far from what I did to them in MKD hehehehe.I'm not sure what it is but more people in this game for some or whatever reason seem to be able to beat me a lot more then MKD where in that game very few could be me in a series much less get wins off me but hey sometimes that how the cookie crumbles.

I'm getting a lot better then the first few months though and I have beaten or kept up with the likes of guys like Alexie, malone, dirtylova, stretch, killer B, nsobo(they don't play anymore), gerchap(he avoids me now), pig(at first), eazy etc.

Improved players in this game from MKD I'd say are Bobby, Nsobo, MesoFly, DNC and smoked out.

Bobby gets the most dramatic change award compared to MKD, now he never sucked or was bad in that game but he wasn't nearly as dominating as he is in MKA with examp, Sareena and Scorpion especially.

Nsobo, this kid has the best Rain I've ever seen online easily.His Kahn wasn't bad either but his Rain was easily and still is the best to this day online.Even though he doesn't play anymore, I've never seen anyone use him like his kid did.

MesoFly I'd say is a bit more difficult then Nsobo yet similar in style.He's improved a lot also from the previous MK game.Very good challenge.

smokedout, I'd say he's a bit more challenging for sure as oppose to MKD IMO I think this guy and a guy named Base519 have the best smokes online easily.

Out of everyone, so far in MKA(anyway) eazy has been the only player to really pull away from me drastically.Then Bobby then pig.Everyone else if they beat me it was no more then 4 games such as Groy and Alex last time we played.

So, what trax said you figure it's some what accurate however I have gotten a lot better I believe.I believe I'm one of the best turtle players online, as oppose to straight out offense or defense.I'm more of a finess kind of player if you know what I mean.

Then there are the "glitch players" who will use the games flaws and nothing but most of the time to win.HB, Red for example.Now, unlike HB I do believe Red has actual skill...however he's not confident enough to play without relying on 70%+ combos that's what I honestly think.HB on the other hand and others like him, styles etc can't play for shit unless they use the easiest way to win.MKD nothing but Bo crap into OTG's, FT's etc, repeat with QR =dull and lack of any kind of serious skill....yet when he used anyone else can you say mopped the floor with this kid?Really now....I mean in MKD I used bo for the hell of it a few times online(literally a few times) and one time against the CP on MAX...and won without any effort with bo OTG into FT I was like WOW...this is a joke, I need a challenge not to mention since I already used Dairou I didn't want to use bo nor was there any need to in that game.I only used 4 guys in kabal, ermac, N/S and Dairou however as most will tell you that have played me that's all I needed to win.


Like trax said, I've seen Red's guides they're useful IMO however he doesn't cover "basics enough" like I do in mine.I won't be putting out there AC, 33 stuff never despite whether the character supports is or not.In my guides which I have two one of Ermac and the other on Fujin.I will list some FT's(if not all of them)BELIEVE me I've already had friends/strangers on here that are getting started or wanted to improve their game and such tell me that my guides help and work so I know I'm doing something right...

I'm not saying Red's aren't helpful, they are I'm just a different type of player therefore you'll get a different kind of guide.We both break down the special moves I've noticed which is good, it's what's after that that is different.


But all in all, despite what level player you're.You're going to win some, and lose some.IMO everyone here is a top player just about because just think if there were ever a local tourney in your area chances are you wouldn't be beat right away if at all.Take that into consideration for all the online practice, even a legit online tournament I doubt MOST people here would get wiped really fast.

my guides include everything,, so show me whats missing... they explain how to play every character effective. they arent based around only 33 and air cancel. but 33 and ac are listed where max danage would occur.

However, I just don't understand why I should take the time out to and follow your guide when you have failed time and time again to live up to it in the arena. MKF, if you try and play longer series with Pig, the lag diminishes with time. And like I said earlier, don't play as tho life depends on it. Play competitively and enjoy it. If you do that, it'd go a long way to ending all the shit because we're just going round in circles.

i never said air cancel wasnt a glitch, but 33 isnt.. u cant make jumping into a glitch, cause thats all u are doing, the online lag makes 33 work, so are u calling lag a glitch??

Well, I can tell you right now that Ermac and Fujin my guides for these characters are very helpful as I've said already.I've pmed them to people on here either learning the game or want to improve their game with these characters and I know that I'm a top player with the both of these characters.They have told me in return that not only were the guides great but it helped their game.

Example, I won't type the whole guide out here but just one point on Ermac.

His floating move, NEVER EVER Talked about.Yet, that's because the typical player thinks it's useless.Right?Wrong...

I can tell you right now I use it very well and can be rather annoying with it, if you KNOW how to use his levitating move well you can seriously have your foe guessing.....Also if your opponent isn't paying attention you can buffer moves off the dart kick.It's also a good move for space sometimes.

That's the kind of tactics I'm referring to among many others.

Just ask anyone here Red who's played my Ermac, this is one thing Pig doesn't do but tried in our mirror match recently.

You tend to learn a thing or two after winning countless matches online with both of them know what I mean?

Now, I've seen Fujin do some 33 stuff, however TRUST me if you think that's the only way to win with him then that' shows someones ignorance and shows that you don't know anything about Fujin.Not saying you per-se but people here that think ohh you need that to win with Fujin..no, no, no you don't.I'm living, breathing proof of that.I've beaten top players with him, I've beaten higher tiers with him online.

And I did it without one single FT or 33 or AC, no glitches what so ever with Fujin.He's one guy that when I use I use just Fujin and his moves meaning NONE of his flaws, nothing that some players would find "shady".There's also a trick with Fujin's game that some players fall for it others don't but I'll keep that to myself.

All I do is turtle and bait with him, if some falls for it not my fault.


Then again, something I realized the characters you do detailed guides for are very different then my characters such as Ermac, Fujin etc.I haven't wrote any new ones in a while but my two are very helpful.

All I'm saying is that (not saying your guides are bad) not saying that at all what I am saying is that you seemed to concentrate on big 33 combos, AC etc yet completely ignore or forget about ground game.

Remember Red, it's a guide if a noob reads that they might not know how to AC or 33 yet when they read that will be like "AC" 33?How do I do that?

That's another thing I tried to do with my guides, make it everyone friendly meaning if a player that knows the game well wants to learn a thing or two to help their game they can as well as a newb picking up MKA for the first time with characters I have guides for.

Red all I am calling you is less skilled than MKF. I am also calling your attack on MKF a total bluff and the ONLY reason you make challenges to him is because you know he wont play you. And by doing so you are attempting to make yourself look good by putting yourself in the same category as others MKF has reportedly avoided such as Groy and Pig. Both of whom are lightyears ahead of you. Red you dont make your guide for OUR benefit. It is ALL about tooting your own horn. Being that NOBODY would consider you ELITE. You make this silly guide so it seems that you are SUPER knowledgeable. In reality you know more glitches than anyone. But that is not skill. Skill is being able to read your opponent and being able to set up your opponent for an attack. This is an area that your guide lacks. That is SKILL not a 100% combo. When Eazy beats me the combos are impressive but the setups are even MORE impressive.

fuuny how u lose to a skilless player, check is the most skillful player in the game, so when he 33 s ur ass from one side of the screen to the other with 2 acs mixed it, bottom line he wins u lose.


boobys can own u with one character, u no what comming and u still cant defend it, is he skillless, cause he uses sareena.

guess what to get hit by a 33 combo, u have to fall for a laucher, theres ur set up right there. guess im skillful enough to land it, or u just suck at blocking.

as far as ermac floating thing, that move is great, if u do it after a knock down, u cant avoid the hit, cause the lag is so bad in this game, that u can time it when they land. even if u hold back to jump, u cant avoid it when ur feet touch the ground. this was not possible in mkd.

u cant teach a person how to read a person, thats just something u have or u dont.

guides are ment to show people what moves to use, and what combos do the best damage.

mk moves sets are completely waste full.. if a move set has 20 moves u need to only use about 5 of those. if u are using moves that are totally unsafe, than ur a noob and deserve to lose.

Ermac's floating move is also great for what you just pointed out, it's also great in other ways such as baiting, and believe it or not(but the situation rarely presents itself) for example say I'm hovering and you're just jumping back IF and this is important IF you time it right your opponent in most cases will be jumping back, flipping staying OFF the ground anticipating the ground slam...well this has worked for me several times and catches foes off guard.

Dart kick them(it won't hit them however they will still be jumping back then immediately buffer the TK slam.) there's a good chance you'll nail them with it because A.They won't be expecting that or B.They'll still be jumping in mid air thus they CAN'T block Erm's TK slam and get caught up in it.

Like I said, you'll rarely see this scenario in most cases but it works when done and used wisely when the opportunity does spawn itself.
