I gotta go with Wanderer here, I thought reptile looked pretty bad, way too different from his previous iterations. MK4 reptile was by far my favorite look he's had so far. I hope they go back to that look or at least if hes gonna look like he did in MK:DA, give that huge fricken tail some use at least, that should have been the best low sweep in MK:DA, but he didnt have a single move with it.

everybody knows by now about the leak about smoke being well smoke.

i keep picturing a grey looking blaze. i dont like the idea. if u also want another picture up the top of my head look at the konquest mode with the elder gods, it was a cloud of smoke and i thought that was smoke at first but it was the elder gods in konquest.

german magagine thankx to somone showed me the pic of sektor which confirmed him, scorpion with a fire sword for some reason, and talked about tanya, kobra,skab, kabal, smoke, lui kang in both forms, and kitana being captured. also showed a picture of Kira the new black dragon female and no she doe snot look anything like kano with long hair.(good thing)

thats where i got that info from. then the spanish magazines show tanya pic in puzzle mode and some other cool pictures.

raiden was confirmed to be in the game only cause they claimed to have seen him in the fMV (where he supposely dies by the DA shang and quan chi.)

i think that has changed though, and i dont think the shokan, sareena or raiden dying is in the game nomore. but they have added Jax so i hear, so it starts to get confusing and just shows that i guess we really wont know the final roster, especially cause some hidden fighters that u unlock in konquest dont have an icon on the select screen.

but i have seen an mK4 or new revamped look for chamleon in the konquest mode where it camoflauges behind and tree and when u go there it is gone and disappears. this is in the same video where u see ermac go behind a pole and he disappears also and he steals that red coin.

at 8:39 clues to either reptile or some creature, but either way the trailer shows the classic subzero, and we know that the time frame on konquest starts with MK1 time period and as shuginko gets older u go through mk2 3 4 and MKDA and MK:D is where the DK takes over in konquest and u finish it.

clues to this are the classic subzero, and the kids talking about the MK1 tournament gor othe old shang tsung, and stuff like that. and if they do that time frame and the story is cannon(real story not made up like some endings)

then the only way to introdue every MK fighter will be too start from mk1 and work your way up.

and it said every MK universe people, not every MK fighter in every game.

plus they have 2 realms and a new shokan form the comics. so thats means MAYBE every comic person will be in Konquest also.

but there is 2 bosses per realm as said in the new spanish mag i think it was.

and queve talked about 2 leaders of the 2 new realms that they are brothers one is evil and one is good. so those could be possible bosses, and we might see the kombatant in konquest also(that would kick ass).

BTW in the fire wall level in MK4 the DK face is in the stage and in UMK3 in shao khans level, there is the DK again. looks like they planned this DK return for a while now to be a part of this story.

I agree. What's the point in having the tail (with those huge spikes) if he wasn't going to use it at all?

I share the same feeling...imo they shouldnt release anymore pics an videos of unseen characters and fatalitys...the only thing they could do...is release renders of the characters we've already saw, that wouldn't spoil anything. I want to buy the game, lock myself in my room for weeks, play it and play it with that awesome feeling of surprise, unlock things by my own, not with stupid lists of krypt items on the net. So plz...don't spoil it no more, you showed us the tip of the iceberg, that's enough for me.

All I have to say this: If you don't like all this screenshots and videos coming out, don't look at them. You DO have a choice, you know. I'm happy with all of this.

Iownyou: They did so say "every MK character will be in Konquest". You don't believe me? READ THE GAME TACTICS POSTS MK: DECEPTION VIDEO!!!!! And read it real carefully and it says every MK character in every MK universe, or something like that. And if they were planning to bring the DK since '95, they I guess they meant after all to make it a 2-part story. But they didn't, as said in the Team X-Box interview. Or the Home LAN one. I don't know and I really don't care. If they had planned the DK since 9 years ago, then I'm sure they would've worked out how he'll come about that time too. It'd be stupid not too. And none of the backgrounds look like the DK. They may look like a dragon, yes, but not the DK if you've seen his drawing up close.

Bottom line....well, no bottom line, just pointing some stuff out. *shrugs*

Reptile didn't look bad because he was different, he looked bad due to poor character design. Eyes and teeth: too frickin big. Looked like old scifi where they superimpose a close-up of a lizard in the bg. Snout: too small and pointy, like a giant, scaly rat. Spikes: bad idea. Just silly. The tail: it was tied on with his belt! It never moves independently, only in reaction to the rest of his body moving. Pause the game and look closely. That's why he can't really use it. Now that's silly, especially with no explanation for it.
And in his second costume he wears a skull on his chest! What is this, Power Rangers?

I think that's exactly what's happening! I don't want to wait that long either. I think the same also applys to Kira...We have seen a concept sketch of her, but nothing says that she isn't drastically different from that sketch when an offical render is released. I'm very excited to see Kabal, and I really think that it's been long enough, and the should throw us someone! I'm not that excited about Smoke, but since you want to see him so badly and your cool, I'll hope that the next character shown is Smoke!

Eh, Reptile didn't look that bad. If I remember the ending pictures correctly, in the first one, his tail is above the ground, so It's not just part of his constume. But yeah, It does look stupid.

I just didn't like is face...too cartoonish and funny...and his stances were just too stupid...

I think there is just 1, ONE very vety important reason why we have not seen Reptile.

I think we will all be shocked to learn about him at the end.

I think, we wont see any full pic of reptile (because I think we already have, hidden somewhere?) till the game is in stores.
