Well I doubt Hotaru won in Mortal Kombat, and I doubt Sub-Zero encountered Smoke and Noob Saibot. I think Sub-Zero and Kenshi's ending happened and that Sub-Zero never died. Remember, Ed Boon himself said there would never be a Mortal Kombat without Sub-Zero and Scorpion so they can't kill him off.

u never know ed boon might be lying.............................maybe sub zero is dead and they might think its time for frost to take his place sure she was frozen but i dont think shes dead so yeah thats my opinion i think.......Sub is dead and now they might think its Frost's turn to take the place

I highly doubt they would ever have Frost take Sub-Zero's place. Especially since according to Sub-zero's bio, Frost is dead.

Wow...amazing that people actually think that dead characters in MK stay dead...

I personally find it more amazing that people still cling to the theory that only one person wins Mortal Kombat. It stopped being a tournament after the second game. Now it's just more of a series of events where any number of the endings could be true.

I don't want Sub-zero die... Frost sucks hard, she's just a Sub-zero wannabe, and Original Sub-zero/Noob Saibot is not any more an icy ninja... We need Sub-zero...

Sub-Zero dying in MK: D is the best thing that could happen, limitiless possibilities...1) will he stay dead 2) if he comes back, does he come back in original form, or will he be a brother of shadow now? 3) Will he seek revenge on his brother, or will he join him?
There are a few different ways it could go.
EB could also take the route where Subby finds out Noob is his older brother...but doesn't get killed.
I believe it IS canon though now...Noob is sub's older brother...whether sub is alive in the next game, noob will always be his brother.
