I've had the exact same idea myself. It'd be cool, but then copying SC is something that should not be done. That's their gimmick so MK would need a new one if they were to utilise the Spear as something else.

I LOVED playing with ivy!!! She was the best!!!! But I don't think her moves would fit Scorpion... Although I agree they should get rid of that crappy sword...

I would love to have scorpion use his spear like that.

I would like him to swing his spear around, and throw it over his back.

It could be one optional attack that would link from a spinning whip animation, like IVY.

Cool animations like that would rock.


It could also be used like the shaolin chain and a knife for a brand new style.

This could be considered copying, but then again, many other weapons are already in both SC2 and MKDA, I don't see anyone complaining about that.

Scorpion's whip spear could have an almost completely different arsenal from Ivy's sword.

all the creators have to do is use their mind and be creative. the spear idea as a weapon is interesting i could see alot of possibilities with that.

i thought of a move with that, something like kabal's mk3 move where he makes the opponent spin. scorpion could wrap the spear around the opponent and tug and make him spin like a bey blade (lol) it would leave the opponent open for another attack, mabey the classic spear move we all love. it could lead to possible weapon combos.

The spin move would look too cheesy I think. Plus the regular spear is basically the same thing.

I would rather have him just do realistic moves like a quick swing. But cool looking attacks.

I want to see it used more. Maybe like a poisoned version or flaming spear. Also an uperward attack.

Seriously, she extends her sword straight at the opponent. If it connects, she pulls them in front of herself.

So don't complain about moves that resemble eachother from one game to the next.

I personally agree with the idea of Scorpion swinging his RopeDart, as well as other various attacks with it (such as low dart to the foot and pull opponent off their feet to open up a ground attack game).

I'd rather have scorpion's classic spear move and then his weapon to be a short chain or a mace.. THEN use those moves

I think it would be cool if Scorpion could use his spear to interact with the areana. For example scorpion could use his spear to grab a medium sized rock and launch it at the opponent. Or he can impale a medium sized boulder and use it like a ball-n-chain. Swinging it around beating the shit out of the enemy. Finally he could be like spider-man in the sense that he could stick his spear into the wall and swing and knock the shit out of his opponent.
