If you look at the pictures the red stuff on smokes face in one of them is lower than the other and one seems to have more to me. I'm really hoping it's just blood.

I'm still going to say that his mask isn't all solid and that's flesh we're seeing. Although the so called blood on the back of his head isn't there when he's getting sliced by Baraka.

I belive it's blood because it seems foolish to ignore the fact that he's being hit in both pictures, but it seems quite constant on both pictures, so theres a possiblility it isn't. Guess we'll just have to wait for at least one more pic.
He's looking a lot more solid in this picture too, so i guess when we see him fully animated he'll look a bit more "full".

I wouldn't say it's exactly in the same place, close yes, but not exactly the same. Also, I think it's just him bleeding from the head in both pics. We all know Midway would not make different blood outlets for the same place. I'm pretty sure every body part has one certain style of how blood leaks out, this could be the case with Smoke's head part.

I'd say this is still up in the air, so no one should act like it's a fact nor be cocky.

Look at the first pic posted. Smoke's only got one leg.

If Smoke now has red mexican ornaments on his mask or whatever.. there better be an explaination anyhow.

I think that he's going to start a match with a full mask and it's going to get gradually broken as the match goes on. That would explain why there's more red stuff in one pic and it looks lower in another because it's broken in a different spot.

i think that's blood for sure, and the mask is silver and made of steel. it;s pretty clear. i am desapointed about the costume. maybe i've just seen him as a cyborg too many times

Smoke's arm is severed not hiding behind him or infront of him it is OFF he only has 1 arm so that proves body parts can be severed during battle.

how does he bleed if he is composed of smoke the only explanation is if he is stealth. and also that stuff on his face can't be blood because it is clearly not the same as the fresh blood coming out his face.

What are you talking about? You can clearly see his other hand/glove, through his transparent wrist, just look to the right of his glove on his left arm.

kodypowell: I see his arm perfectly. The colors of the backround are blured by his second arm even. It's just not gray because of the lighting. His glove is residing beyind Darou(sp?).

LOL. I never said it was an opinion, did I? It's a common-sense fact. You can ban me from this site if the game is released and that red stuff turns out to be a part of his mask, and not blood.

Looks liek blood to me, but it is a striking similarity. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that perhaps this is some sort of effect of the cybernization process. It's possible that he removed his cybernetic components on his own - painfully so. Perhaps Smoke's head must remain non-corporeal, and some 'leakage' has occurred through the broken helmet.
