Shao Kahn is not dead.....

A good friend of mine on this site (subzero961) told me about an interesting theory, and I was wondering if anyone else had heard about it. Looking at Reiko's ending on the Playstation version of MK4 and using his worded ending on the Game Boy as a narritive, it is very possible that Quan Chi & Shang Tsung killed Reiko and not Shao Kahn. Which, if this theory is true, means that Kahn is still alive somewhere. You think he'll be in MK6?

error macro, please, shao khan is officlially dead, reptiles conquest confirms it, and kitanas ending sais it on audio, SHAO KHAN IS DEAD. please his dead. Now youre theory is the only way he could be alive, but that is a slim probability. We will never see these characters again: Lui kang: because the whole story revolves around him being dead
Goro: also dead forever.
Please dont say but johnny cage cameback from the dead, yes he did, but he had a good reason and was on the side of the story, not a major one. That theory is not new, but thanks for sharing, im sure well find out any speculation and we will really see whose right or wrong about shao khan in mk6.

i don't know, but i've seen enough of Shao Kahn. IMO he is old and wasn't a good part of the MK storyline since MK3. i would rather see some new badguys then some tall guy screaming things like "EXELENT!" and "SUPERB!"

Shao Kahn was the best thing that happened to MK during MK3 and the whole MK storyline in particular.

And Kahn isn't officially dead because in the recent Chat the Midway officials have hinted that we haven't seen the last of him.

Ok. That's yall's opinion, it's cool. But the way I see it, there are two possibilities:

A.) It really was Kahn and he is dead.
B.) It was Reiko disguised as Shao Kahn. No one knew this, so when Quan and Shang killed him, they thought it was really Kahn. No one knew any better so they said Shao was dead.

That's just the way I interpreted his theory.

Yeah, Khan died, but so did: Scorpion, Mileena, Syndel, Cage, etc. Some of them are alive now, and some resucitated and may come back in the next one...
Remember people, in MK, NO ONE DIES FOREVER

scorpion death doesn't count

he was dead when he entered MK1.

and its not reiko. reiko is not kahn nor was he impersonating kahn. we were told to forget about reiko. stop talking about him

That's an interesting theory. Reiko could've just acting as Kahn to protect him. Just like in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Queen Amidala had a whole bunch of them. In Attack of the Clones, one of her handmaidens, Corde, died doing that, just like Reiko could've died for Kahn.

i agree with MS6 on this one... 1. Reikos ending didnt and we was told to forget about it because obviously Reiko didnt win MK4 and 2. Like MS said at Fight Night they pretty much put it to us straight forward that Reiko is not kahn, has never been Kahn, and will never be Kahn...

It clearly states in the opening of MKDA that Quan Chi and Shang Tsung overtake SHAO KAHN, and they obviously kill him...

People you really shouldn't go by what every individual ending says. Endings are like what if's in a way. Besides people, everyone saying Kahn is officially dead, when in fact Boon, I believe it was, said that we haven't seen the last of Kahn. I personally would love to see Kahn come back as a strong playable character, but I wouldn't mind if he was the boss,although I would prefer him being playable. So I hope that people just stop assuming that Kahn is dead because it said so in a characters ending. Only the MK developers can and will decide who lives and who dies.

YEAH! there even is a sketch of khan they planned to use for the game....
Again, in MK6 they could twist the story HOWEVRE they like and make him be or not be there! It's their choice really...

They know what Boon said in the chat about Kahn. Or atleast one of the Midway officials said it. They just in denial because THEY ARE SHAO KAHN HATERS!!!!!!!!
