im almost convinced there gonna bring kahn back, just from the little mind games they've been playing with us from the last 2 games. everything from hin being "supposedly" dead in mk:Da to the whole reiko thing in 4 and gold.

quan chi is better than both of them and the DK should be the best of all

quan chi has so many motives and tricks..plus his arch enemy is scorpion.
I think Quan Chi found his match in Shang Tsung during the course of MK:DA.
Shinnok is interesting, But i don't know why'd they bring him back. He's pretty much dead weight as far as the story is concerned. Time for the rise of the Dragon King!
But as for Shao Kahn. I'm not easy with the way he "died". I think he might still be alive and have a few cards up his sleeve, He always does. I'd like to see him re-surface in MK6 as a playable character and at the end, It's the Dragon King that disposes of the mighty Shao Kahn
It's just that Shao Kahn is too powerful and badass to subcome to anyone who's not on the same bar as him, And really, Quan Chi and Shang Tsung don't seem like much more then punks. Two wanna-be rulers of the world, But keep getting their asses handed to them

I agree! I'm sick of characters coming back from the dead. When they do that, I just label them 'Johnny Cage'. It's a really boring idea! When they die, they should stay dead - unless they come up with a REALLY GOOD reason to bring them back! Ressurection died out with Cage and Sindel several games ago!

Excellent, someone who shares my point of view...

i personally found shao kahn simple in each installment , and MKDA was the only game to have a hard boss and sub-boss

No special name edited MK signature, but hey.... I don't give a f00k.

I disagree. I find that the MK4 and MKDA bosses and sub bosses were much easier then the ones in MK2 and MK3. The final bosses in MK4 and MKDA where extremely easy IMO. Not worth the title of final boss. Just the whole idea of the boss being a playable character from the start doesn't appeal to me..... just another fighter. I think all final bosses should be special. And I don't label Quan chi, Shang Tsung, nor Shinnok special, but weak. Weak to have the title as boss that is. I like them as normal characters. But final stage fights .. All sub bosses have been great though IMO.

| Ghaleon Wrote: i like kahn but im not ver fond of shinnok... imo i like the bosses of MK to be big, like where Kahn was technically on the same level as the subbosses size and strength wise and i liked that... i like my last bosses to be big and strong, i like Quan Chi a lot but hes not boss material imo... hopefully the DK will be what im looking for... |
agreed.

| tgrant Wrote: I agree that Shang, Quan and Shinnok shouldn't be bosses. The fact that they are playable from the beginning takes away the excitement and mystery of playing against them because you know what they're about, how they work and what their strengths and weaknesses are straight away. The fact that they're playable, means their 'boss' strength is decreased and they're not the typical bosses you would expect on a game. |
yea ur right, i remember when i first played mk2 on the battle screen i saw shao kahn ontop of a moutnain and not in one of those boxes and i was like wtf, then when i fought him he whipped my ass pretty badly even after i had a hard time with kintaro.

Yeah, for some particular reason, I liked Shang Tsung's MK1 appearance more than any of his others (though his MKII appearance was straight as well). Personally, I believe that Shao Khan should appear in MK6 in some way and form, and skip over Shinnok! He was never any good to begin with in the first place.
