Kabal was awesome, i'd be glad to see him return. Give him a good story, good styles, good moves, his weapon, better look, and VOILLA! Hes set.

i would love to see him with his running move, and i would just want him to have different weapons.

If only he had his hook swords still, it would be bad ass seeing them back and longer than mavados. But now, he would need a different weapon.

mk has had a tendancy of keeping shitty players, while leaving out 1-2 impact franchise players, but creating 1-2 new great ones.

Kabal was one of those great ones from MK3.
Cyrax was another one.
Nightwolf was decent as well, but cliche? yes.
Sheeva was a great addition as well.

It's rumored, but not confirmed. Could go either way, theoretically, but I personally doubt we'll see Kabal again anytime soon.

Yes, I would definitely like to see Kabal return in MK:D. He was by far my favorite character in MK3. His story had a good sense of mystery to it. He was a battlescarred individual, barely alive etc. I would like to see him look a little different though. No artificial respirator. Show his scarred face (though I don't think he should be disfigured or anything, just scarred). Same black hair, and maybe put some red in his costume.

He could fit in well with the Black Dragon/Red Dragon storyline. Out for revenge against Mavado, but against the opportunisic Kano and the forces of evil. He could be a really cool wild card in that storyline and possibly freshen the whole Black Dragon thing up a little bit. I could really see that working!

I would love to see Kabal return. They left more than enough opening in the story to leave room for his return, and all they would need to do is find someway for him to either get his weapons back from Mavado OR give him ever better replacement weapons.

No. LOL, I think I'm the first person to say that. Kabal was probably my least favourite character from MK3.

I don't think there is any reason to dispute him being dead and Mavado taking his hookswords, since Mavado has his weapons, and it says he took them from a dead Kabal. They shouldn't bring him back, as his story is an older version of Mavado's. I think they just wanted to bring back a fighter like Kabal, but didn't think his story would fit in, so they morphed the ideas of Kabal into the ideas of Mavado.
