I'm thinking that maybe it should be, but they should either make it less powerful or let the person who is stabbed pull it out of their body.

I tihnk they should. And instead of just impaling the weapon into their opponent, they could jam inside of their stomach and twist it, and you could heard organs being towrn to shreads.

Yes, but I loved the impale, BUT, dont make it dissapear magicly when the fight is over, show the victim take it out and throw it to the other dude to try to kill him, but that dude will catch the weapon and have it back.

Yes, the impale should be back...i'm undecided as to whether EACH character should have that ability though...to make it abit more fair...and i suppose it's unanimous that we should have 2nd fatalities, along with pit fatals?

the impale is a very slow move, though. powerful as it is, i dont think it gives a character thyat can perform it an unfair advantage. sometimes a sideswipe (like kenshi/scorp) is better (much faster) than an impale

oh and it should be a definite in mk6

At least they should do a combo where you stab the weapon, take some of the opponent's energy, pull out the weapon then strike them dead.

I think they should bring the impale back, but, in order to make it more balanced, they should give some other special ability for the SP button to the characters with weapons that can't be impaled (bats, sun-moon-like stuff, etc), like an instant combo, or a limb-breaker, or a height-varied attack (like Rayden's). In the case of the limb-braker, it would take energy as long as the character would keep moving (which would make the stab+run strategy less effective), in the case of the combos, it would take more energy that an ordinary combo, and it would have great reach.

Also, about the weapon managing in general, they should make for the character to unseath the sword/take out the weapon, with a little fast animation. In the case of the Style Branch combos, you would just have to press the button a little earlier, when in the battle, you would risk to take it out by exposing yourself to an attack. Also, after a round, if a character gets impaled, the weapon's owner should remove the weapon himself, like go there and take it out. Also, if you would finish the last round with a weapon in hand, the character could do a special animation with it, instead of it just disappearing.

they should have it, but they should put in another feature and instead of the weopon name thing at the bottom of the screen going away it should stay and if you choose to you can push any attack button and pull out the weopon for more use. or at least st the end of the round i think it would be cool to see the person with the weopon pull it put and throw it on the ground or something and then the owner of the weopon pick it up or during game play the person with the weopon impaled in them should be able to pull it out and use it.
