Now that Liu is dead (and i don't think he will come back) Someone needs to fill his shoes. I feel his younger could fill into the story line perfectly.

He's out for revenge on the Deadly Alliance After Shang killed his older brother. He is found by the Alies and his trained by Kung Lao and Bo' Rai Cho. Since Kung is Liu's Ancestor wouldn't that make him Chow's ancestor too? W/E, they could even give him sum of his brother's qualities. He could hav the shooting fire ball or bycycle kick. I think giving him the Dragon fatality is going a little too far though. He should get his own wicked fatality.

I could see Chow Kang in this with Kung Lao watching over him. Like Sub-Zero and Frost in Deadly Alliance. Kung Lao could be a father figure to Chow Kang.

yea either Kung or possibly Raiden could guide him if he's still around (Raiden, not Chow).

I don't think that would work very well, he'd probably just end up being a Liu Kang ripoff, as far as special moves, kinda like Jarek was with Kano.

Thats a choice. Jarrek did not just end up like Kano, the developers made him that way. Same thing here. He does not have to be a rip off of Liu Kang.

The only thing jarrek and kano basically had in common was the heart surgery fatality they both kindof had that rugged look to em too but not everyone can totally be different.

Also the cannon-ball and the eye laser fatality...that is TOO much like Kano.

As for Chow, I dont like the idea.

I think Chow Kang has potential, he was never seen in a Mortal Kombat game at all. Seeing how his brother died it would seem right that his brother would seek revenge on the killers. Who knows mabey Kung Lao is trying to protect Chow Kang in respect for Liu Kang.

Chow Kang could be from any place in the world. I would like it if he came from America. He could be obnoxious and at the same time serious. Nothing like his brother, but strong just like him with some flaws. He would not be a rip off of his brother.

I thought Liu Kang's brother was killed by Shang Tsung, that's why he entered the Tournament in the first place.

That was only in the movie. According to the game he entered the tournament to defeat Goro and Shang Tsung and restore it to its former glory.

Liu Kang's MK1 bio says Chow's whereabouts are unknown.
I would like to have Chow Kang.

I have a feeling he would be one of my favorites.

If i were making Chow for da game i'd make him so that he can be related to like Liu a lot of gamers liked the crazy chinaman, but i feel he needs to branch of on his own. A few tricks from his older brother would be cool but thats about it he needs to be cocky or sumthin.

Jarek was cool. He should return, obviously with his own moves and stuff.

i think they should bring back lui kang as a bad guy and bring in his brother chow kang to try and convert him back to the good side. that way they would be fighting against each other until chow can get lui kang on the good side again. then in mk7 lui kang could be brought back as a good guy.

what do you think about that idea

chow shouldn't show up everyone would regret it. kung lao is good and he has filled the void. he finished of shang tsung. so dont say chow could fill the void cause kung lao would be better, hes been around since mk2 and to have chow just show up wouldnt make any sense.
