(Assuming there is one, which is very likely.)
I really can't wait to read it. The game is probably going to do a great job with developing the story, but it isn't going to be able to go into the detail that a comic about it would. And, due to limitations in regards to development time, the comic has the potential to get a lot more characters involved.
Lets face it, that Joker/Havik meeting brought up in the other topic is NOT going to happen in this game, mainly because Havik is probably not popular enough to be in it. But in the comic.
Another benefit is that there will probably be a lot more dialog. You can get pretty far with just implied actions in a video game, but not in a comic. In a comic, characters need to talk.
Finally, I'm looking forward to fights that are going to seem a lot more choreographed. In the game we're probably going to do the fights ourselves once there are encounters, which is cool, and a lot more fun than watching it will be. But I would love to see the Batman/SubZ fight blow-by-blow.
So, who else really wants to see the MKvDC comic?

I'm eagerly awaiting the comic. Actually the story is what interests me the most about the MK games. So I really hope they do this right.

Hell YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm just a casual comic book guy, I don't collect all but follow big DC events or my fav characters besides anything MK related ; ) So you bet your wallet I'll get the comic should Midway/DC or DC whoever decide to do one based off the game. I hope

Not really, to be honest. Mainly because I'm not at all confident my favorite characters would have worth-while roles or be portrayed correctly.
About Me
I need a new sig, something with Kabal from UMK3 would be sweet. Just imagine that here

I've been anticipating a comic book since rumors of MK vs DC first broke.

In the DC vs Marvel comics
Elektra beat Catwoman
Silver Surfer beat Green Lantern
Thor beat Captain Marvel (despite the name he's a DC character)
Storm beat Wonder Woman
Spiderman beat Superboy
Wolverine beat Lobo.
Marvel won 8 to 7

Didn't fans vote for the winners? Now call me crazy but that's kind of out of DC's hands when they let the fans choose.

The best you could hope for is that in this comic it will be a tie, since before the fan vote fights that's what it was in DC vs Marvel.
So no, your point doesn't stand since you said DC characters would never lose a match.
Hell, your point wouldn't stand if even one of the non-fan vote fights resulted in a DC character losing.
HaHA, sir haHA!

I said they wouldn't LET THEM given their choice. If it isn't their choice, then no shit they'll lose some matches. The only reason they probably let themselves lose in the first place was to keep both parties satisfied.
God. Gotta go and be all "HAHAHA" at the end don't ya? Is that necessary? I mean really?

It's not to be antagonistoc, it's actually meant to lighten the mood, though I guess it doesn't translate well online.
Anyways, what makes you think Midway would be any happier with their characters losing than Marvel would? I really see this whole thing ending up with both sides working together to stop a bigger threat and fix their worlds anyways.

Just note: A few of those matches were also "fan done or for the fans" and BS like WW vs. Storm, no way WW would lose to Storm powerwise WW would kill her in one punch if she wanted, and Wolverine beating Lobo was just laughable.
Superman owning Hulk, now that was awesome

Perhaps a small disclaimer would have worked? It's hard to seperate sarcasm from humor online at times.
And since it had Sub pretty much get his ass handed to him by Batman in the teaser I think it'll be likely that it happens in the comic {if there is one}

Things might end up that way, but like the Marvel clash, you'd have to expect the bigger company (DC) to be the spiritual winner.

Well, considering Bruce really is the better fighter...
Anyways, it actually seemed to me that Bruce may have gotten the last lick in, but he also took the bigger ass whooping.

Actually, I'm not expecting any kind of "winner". I'm thinking it'll be a matter of:
"Who the hell are you?"
"Who the hell are you?"
"We must Kung Fu Fight"
*Fighting*
"Wait, you're good."
"So are you."
*Alliance Forms to Fix Worlds*
"Darkseid is behind this!"
"So is Shao Kahn!"
*Fight bad guys*
*Win*
*Worlds fixed*
*The End*
Except with a lot more detail, characters, and side-stories.

Ergo, spiritual winner.
I just don't see how any winner, spiritual or actual, comes out of the above scenario. At least not when is comes to which universe > which.
Unless, of course, a DC character is the reason for the victory against BOTH villains (assuming I've called a Darkseid/Shao Kahn team up correctly).

Im definitely looking forward to getting a Comic book series of MK VS DC! I hope its more then just one comic.
It would be phenomenal! Very fun to watch and read, specially if they decide to use some of their best artists.
I’ll love to see the story develop in a way the game wouldn’t be able to tell it, all the dialogue, and like someone said, the possibility to see MK characters that didn’t make the cut, even if just for one silly pic.
I’ll love to see what they would do for the Mk and Dc characters. All MK comic books have perfectly visualized and portrayed my favorite characters, so it would be cool to see them come back to life again.

Lobo rigged the fight and deliberately lost it. Hehe, the bastich. Come to think of it, noone I know could possibly end the life of Lobo. He just keeps coming back alive.
